🧪This book is amazing, it should be given to every chemistry student when they enter secondary school, it breaks everything down to is simplest form (in more ways than one), and makes the periodic table, elements, atoms, electrons, protons and neutrons so simple to understand.
🧪A comprehensive introduction details a general overview of the periodic table and explains the atom. Suddenly the world makes sense! Years of studying chemistry just made more sense on a few pages then it did over five years of secondary school,
🧪Each of the 92 elements are awarded a double page spotlight detailing where the element is found, key properties and how much of the human body is composed of that element. There’s also a secret chemistry book explaining a little about why each element behaves as it does.
🧪Each element has illustrations and captions explaining the most important, or wonderful uses, of that element. The illustrations are vibrant, clear and simple. This whole book simplifies a difficult topic, but in a really fun, informative and playful way, still leaving the reader fascinated and learning something new.
🧪This book is ideal for any child. I’ll be using it in its entirety with my older two children to help them understand the building blocks of chemistry and using the illustrations and captions to introduce the elements to my four and five year old.
🧪This is one of those quietly brilliant books that should be on everyone’s bookshelf.

Wh8le written for young readers, it’s good for everyone.
