Oculus quest 2 head strap replacement

Oculus quest 2 head strap replacement fits very nicely and definite improvement from the original headstrap it came with. Good and sturdy product. All parts fit very well and simple enough to put together. Headstrap is comfortable and balances the front load of the Oculus quest 2. Just a quick note, be aware this will not fit in your regular case. Hopefully seller will also consider making a case to fit this headstrap.
Other than that this would be a perfect choice. With all the negative feedback on the poor quality replacement head strap made by Oculus, this would be a very good choice to pick. Seller was very quick to response to my I inquiry and request. Thank you very much for your support.

Half the price... maybe half the quality

I own multiple Quests and headstraps. This one is not at all as comfortable or as sturdy as the official Oculus one. Yes, it is half the price almost, and that's the only reason to buy it.

The plastic is flimsier, the turn knob feels like it will break if mishandled... that being said... ANYTHING is better than the stock crap fabric that comes default shipped with the Oculus.

So this is definitely better than getting nothing.

I bought this because the stock headstrap was really not tight enough and in that regard it is fantastic, it fits tightly on my head and gives me a great view of the lenses. My problem was how hard it was to assemble as it comes in a few parts that get incrementally harder every time. I found the flimsy plastic tabs bent almost instantly on one part that almost made the entire thing obselete and the tabs that click onto the headset were slightly too small and required extensive use of pliers to make it fit along with absolutely all of the force I could dish out, it was very concerning and I thought something would break. If you can accept how annoying it is to assemble then this is a great headstrap but I would probably stray away to one that is easier to put together

This strap really lost 2 stars because it hurts my ears. The end part where the strap goes into is a bit too big and you either have to bend your ears weirdly or try and tuck them under a bit. The back part is comfortable and the way it connects to the Quest actually looks really solid. I dont see a quality issue at all.

My only real gripe is it bothers my ears and its a pretty big deal if wearing it for an hour+

Whilst comfortable and stylish, this takes time to pop on. It took me nearly 4 hours of trying to put it on my oculus because as soon as I had one side on, the other side popped off. Be careful not to wind it too tight on your head as it can cause headaches. It is way superior to the normal strap the oculus comes with. I do recommend to people who don’t rage quit.

It came in a plastic bag with instructions written backward. The quality of plastic parts could be better. On one side it only started to fit once I squeezed and twisted it a bit to warm it up. The other side didn't fit at all and I had to take my wife's nail file and work on the edges a bit.

I didn't notice it to make a big difference while using a headset, but it does make you feel like it's not gonna come off if you turn your head too fast. It lacks a holder for the link cable as well

When wearing it it is very comfy compared to the standard strap you get with the quest, but the plastic feels flimsy and the knob you use to turn it sticks quite often and I worry that it will brake when I try to turn it to loosen/tighten the headset.

Just not quite the correct size. It's just in a plastic bag with bad instructions. Nothing to say any make and just X001916J8H on the barcode which doesn't match anything on listing.. buy something with quality control and branding not just poorly printed garbage!

Everything works fine, is definitely a good improvement from the actual default straps. The only thing is if you have the Oculus case it doesn’t fit in the case properly. So that’s quite annoying.
