Our leads meet at a lavish banquet when both seek solitude on an exterior balcony away from the gossip and chatter of the party.
Arizona's characters are written as vulnerable in differing ways but Claire is slightly tougher. The ease of conversation and companionship makes for an interesting friendship then a proposal is made which will help both situations. I enjoyed the friendship developing slowly along with the fake dating until the bubble bursts. A little angst and steadfast love leads to fated mates finally finding each other. The moon goddess and Crescent Lake work their magic when the time and mates align.
This is another easy read and fine addition to the Crescent Lake Shifters series.
