The fake name thing has always been my gig. I try to keep my life simple both in and outside of the bedroom. I do have a rule about hooking up with hockey players, though: don't ever do it.

Of course I break that rule with the hottest hockey player I’ve ever met. Thanks to my father being the new GM of the Apple Cats, I’m hired as the official photographer for the team. And you’ll never guess who I see on my first day on the job…

I found Madison and Maverick to be unlikeable and they didn't really get better as the story progressed. The banter between characters was exhausting and at times confusing to read. Lay is an actual menace and and it's played off for a laugh but he consistently harasses women and it's never addressed beyond jokingly. It felt rushed and dragged on at the same time. Not honestly sure why I consistently finished it. Also some things are just randomly italicised?
I'm trying to be generous and say this was just not my cup of tea but I do wish I hadn't bothered finishing it.

Book 3 and what a book, the characters in this series are of the chart and these two main characters in the book are the most adorable Maverick the tuff goalie with a huge soft side and Maddison trying to be tuff but has had so much heart ache follow there journey no spoilers from me but you won’t be disappointed 5⭐️

Omg this was amazing. maverick (Mav) is the goalie for The Apple Cats. He finds his girlfriend in bed with another man , goes out meets a woman named Grace and they agree to have a one night stand with no string attached. Until he finds out she’s the new General Managers daughter. Anddd her name isn’t Grace but Madison (Grace is her middle name). Lol Madison is the teams new photographer, but that’s not what she wants to do. She is really good and wants to do something more. But she has commitment issues. Maverick and Madison can’t keep their hands off each other , so they decide to keep fueling around behind everyone’s backs. But well feelings start to get in the way. This was hilarious with all of the members of the team and Madison’s friends ( Zoe & Eva) It was very emotional too with things going on with Coach’s wife. I love this series so much. WTG London Casey for another great story.
