We bought this along with a few others and it’s safe to say this is the best thing since sliced bread!!
While the others were used a few times and are now living out their best lives under a blanket of dust, this one has worn down corners for all the right reasons.
He now understands the correct feeling and reactions to emotions, and that everyone feels these and it’s okay to get angry. It teaches him how and where/when to let these out too, meaning less problems within school.
He’s definitely come out of his shell more too, talking about how he’s feeling (we’ve also followed this up with a ‘feelings tracker’ my wife made, in the same design as the one in the book).
Now just to find a book that explains to him it’s okay to not talk every second of the day and we’ll be grand!
