About the authors
Our kids are growing up in an increasingly bilingual society. It’s time to introduce second-language concepts to the youngest, even at a very early age. With our publishing catalog, we are primarily interested in offering new experiences and making suggestions for new perspectives of the world – also in the fantastic and magical.
PlanetOh concepts Educational Publishing was founded in 2018 to support bilingually educated children in their language development through narrative children's picture books and activity books.
The books offer a child-friendly, linguistically stimulating design and varied illustrations. Cross-cultural themes such as friendship, tolerance, gathering courage, overcoming fears, etc., are deliberately chosen to ensure that the stories are linguistically and culturally understandable and engaging in all targeted language areas.
Ingo Blum is an author, graphic designer, and comedian. He has always enjoyed projects where he could create artwork for kids. Eventually, he became a writer and graphic designer and started writing children's stories to accompany these projects for fun. With some encouragement from his friends and family (and a lot of kids!), he decided to share his stories with the world. Ingo works with illustrators from all over the world with whom he constantly develops new concepts and stories.

My eldest is afraid of swimming and she saw some aspects of herself in this story. It helped her gather courage and go to the swimming pool with us.
🇫🇷 J’adore les livres bilingues et mes enfants ont adoré l’histoire. Mon aînée a peur de nager et elle s’est reconnue dans certains aspects de cette histoire. Cela lui a donné du courage pour se rendre à la piscine avec nous.

It is clear to me that a foundation has been laid for French fluency. An immersion experience within the next few years will have her speaking French fluently.
The story is easy, the pictures are engaging, and the text is short enough that you can read both the French and English to your child without exceeding the attention span.
My daughter is now 7, so I read the French to her, and then I ask her to read the English.

He comes across a lion, beaver, elephant, fish, a big gray bird, a mole, they give him advice.
I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.
An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary) bird storybook (bi-lingual). It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (bird learning to fly), movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.
