I purchased 2 orders for this product.

Sorry if it is difficult to tell from the pics but the 1st few pics are the better quality gates and the last few are the knockoffs. The pic in the middle is a side by side of the 2 gates.

One box was unmarked with a flimsy, lightweight, easilly broke, uneven gate. It could be easily tipped over just by how uneven it was. I had to place stoppers on the bottom to get it to stand without rocking. I needed to make it work till my replacement gate came in.

The other box had a sturdy, better quality, gate with PetMaker logo on the actual box. The color on the PetMarker gate was a nice brown with strong wood and the gate did not feel so easily knocked over. It was sturdy and strong. I did not need to do anything to it to make it work.

I exchanged the knockoff and am now waiting for my replacement in the hopes I have good luck and get an original. It is unfortunate because the knockoff is probably giving the product a bad name. I’m happy with the original product.

Amazon really needs to fix their processes in how knockoffs keep getting mixed in with the originals.

We love this gate! It arrived in just a couple of days in perfect condition...I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews but took a chance anyway and glad I did! This gate is priced great compared to others gates, came super quick and serves it’s purpose! We use this for our elderly dog
(he’s 15) to give him just part of the kitchen to walk around in, as he gets anxiety if he has too much space or too little space. It also serves as a safety gate at the top of the stairs so he doesn’t go down them and get hurt; without the gate he tries to go down the stairs and falls-he has to be carried now :-( It’s light-weight and easy to move around all the levels of the house. Oh! And it tucks away great too as you can see in the last picture. I think we are going to buy another one.

This product works great for me. My dogs are small and don’t jump, push or chew. You can literally put something in front of them and they’ll stay where needed. I did add slip guards to stop it from moving around when my kids jump over it. It works! I also love that it’s lightweight, makes it easier for my mom to open/close one side.

This product is not for everyone. It’s not durable, strong or heavy. It won’t stop your dog from pushing, jumping or chewing on it. So if that’s what you’re looking for then this product is NOT for you.

This gate is the perfect size for our space. We have another gate that is for putting between walls and doorways but when you have an open space you need a gate like this. The four panels give you flexibility and it is light enough for me, an elderly handicapped person, to handle with ease. We can configure it however we need to corral our diverse group of foster pups. The dark wood is good looking and it easily folds up out of the way.
