About the Author

Nadia Turner is an Australian illustrator and artist who creates wayward wonders out of a little studio up in the Dandenong Ranges just outside of Melbourne, Australia. She has exhibited her work in solo and group shows within Australia and overseas, and has created illustrations for a variety of clients as well as commissions for private individuals and businesses. She especially enjoys illustrating children's books. When she’s not drawing or creating, you'll find her, coffee in hand, perusing bookstores or wandering in the forest looking for mushrooms and treasures. This is such a unique little deck, I love it! I have a few small, pocket decks & I love how this one has the artwork in 'portrait' view rather then landscape as they are long, thin cards, most of the time all images will be set to landscape or may be the same art on each card but not this one! Each card has a different artwork on it & a lovely fae related message. so cute & has such a lovely vibe to it! :)

I love this set of cards the illustrations are perfect, the case is neat and pocket sized, the lid shuts magnetically. Each card has a phrase on it with the drawing. The one thing I will point out is that unlike other oracle or tarot decks this set does not come with a description booklet but then this is why it’s cheaper than other decks.

The art and small messages and the cards themselves are very very cute. They really sound like whispers from forest creatures that guide you with puzzles and phrases. I wished I had more information about what the author was thinking when creating them, or some background history for their source of inspiration in creating the deck and messages.
