These are quality filters. They seal to the box perfectly and are extremely dense. They don't choke the engine but have a lot of material to keep the filter working while not restricting.

The top filter in my picture is 6? months old. It still has life in it but I am on a 6 month subscription with these now so I'm just changing it out when the new one arrives.

The next two pictures just show this installed in my 2010 Ford Edge.

It’s like they put to much plastic in the mold and it overflowed on to the actual filter material. I’m a little worried it will restrict the air flow but so far it hasn’t caused any noticeable problems and it’s been about a month. I expected better when buying the Fram name. See attached picture.
