I bought this to get my AppleTV up behind my television that is mounted on the wall. I have the AppleTV 4K from 2021. The AppleTV fits in the mount (which is all that matters) but the remote doesn’t fit in the silicone holder… not a big deal since I wasn’t going to use it anyways.
I mounted it to the back of my TV using the adhesive provided, but it fell pretty quickly so I will be getting some 3M Command Strips.

Remote has a rubber case for protection.
Remote case has a strap that can be used to hang the remote behind the TV when not in use, or when charging.
The mount is simple to install.

For me I opted not to screw onto wall or stick on back of TV, I made a small piece of wood that slotted in behind TV wall bracket, so that I can easily remove the mount if needed. This also means that there are less wires between the TV and the Wall.

I was sceptical about how the Apple TV would work when positioned behind the TV, but it works perfectly fine.

Easy to install, great value for money. Well made product, and the remote case offers excellent protection.

This tv mount is comparable to the one sold at Apple but it’s a fraction of the price! The only problem with it was the adhesives. I first used the double sided tape, provided, to hold it up behind my tv. The “stickers” came off within an hour. I figured I would would have better luck with the wall kit, but the screws and fittings they provide you with are really flimsy, low quality and odd sizing. I would suggest buying a 3M double sided adhesive or better equipment from the hardware store. Apart from that, I really like the silicon sleeve and lanyard it comes with to protect the remote. Overall (apart from the sticking issues), it’s worth it for the price just take into consideration the minor adjustments.

So handy hides behind tv and with the new Apple TV it doesn’t have to be in view of the controller so it can be 100% hidden. Velcro strapped to the back of the Tv. You really don’t need to drill holes in your wall

I have wall mounted TV and no TV stand or any of that sort. This was perfect as I can mount directly on the TV’s back side but did not use the adhesive that came with the purchase, instead bought 3M mounting tape and did the trick as I didn’t want to take the chance.

Little case for remote is quite nice actually but didn’t care for the wrist strap though it might be nicer for people with smaller hand size, I could barely fit in it. Having a protective case though is great as new remote feels quite fragile, dropped it few times already with the silicone casing and held up very well.

I followed instructions and all was well for a while. Then both of the mounts became unstuck. That was disappointing. But the mounts work well when wall mounted. It’s good that the Apple TV can be controlled with RF.
I love the holders for the Apple remotes. They are handy.
Bear in mind the range of the remote is reduced by the Apple TV being behind the TV. I often now use my phone on wifi as the remote.

There was me thinking you had to keep the apple TV in view for the remote to work, but no, it works anywhere!
Ive attached this box to the back of the TV stand and it is totally out of sight, it fits in the holder very well and has cleared the shelf of another object and made the place just that little bit more tidy.
I had initially thought the apple tv would not work on the remote when behind the TV, but there is no problem with this at all.
The silicone cover for the remote is an added bonus, it feels quite nice so people like to pick it up and try it, which is annoying because every time they touch the remote the apple tv comes on and the TV too, or it changes from terrestrial TV/Sky to the apple tv.

Nice Design, Apple TV's are heavy so the supplied Velcro is probably not up to the job, however, just bought some more and its not moved since! Nice little unit, cannot complain. Not sure giving a mount like this a 1 star review because a bit of Velcro isn't right, though I do understand the argument, if you look at whats its there to do, it does the job....

Worked well. Good adhesive, but I had to drill holes in the wall as the person that put it up stuck it to the wrong place. It was not a problem with the item, user error. I would recommend and yioy get a free cover for Apple TV remote.

So I bought this so I could hide my Apple TV as my partner moans about all the different boxes on display. So I thought stick it to the back of the tv she can no longer moan. This stayed stuck to the tv for at least 32.3 seconds, the best 32.3 seconds of no moaning ever. It then fell damaged my Apple TV, the sticky puds got stuck to the instructions, they wouldn’t unstick so I throes it in the bin.

On a plus note the remote case that comes with it is great, glad I spent £10.99 on a remote case.
