Sorry but the system forced me to give one star. I would have preferred not to give any. I am Sicilian and have eaten cannoli all my life, both here and in Sicily. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the smell of something like fake vanilla. They didn't taste like any cannoli I've ever had. The shells themselves were so thick and hard it was almost impossible to bite into them. And the bottom trays contained shells that were completely broken and unuseable. Ultimately I ended up throwing the entire box in the trash. A total waste of money.

I like that the shells were packaged in 25 each packs. I did not like that one pack had 15 broken shells while another pack had 9 broken shells and so on for all the packs. Also the shells are very thick like hard left over italian bread instead of flakier and a bit softer like other shells.
I bought these as my usual ones were not available. Value would have been good if so many were not broken

Family loves Cannoli's and around the holiday, we are always making candy, cakes, etc....2 years ago, we tried cannolis and you cannot find big shells anywhere, every store, even the Italian bakery only sold the mini shells, that year we used the mini and the filling we made was awful because we did not strain the ricotta, we skipped 2019 xmas, but beings its 2020 and we've got nothing better to do, we decided to give the cannoli another shot. Was hesitant to buy shells online due to shipping and had pretty low expectations that these would come unbroken. 2 things
1. Every shell was fine, not 1 broke, kudos the the mfg to pack these things really well to avoid breaking
2. The flavor of these are great

48 is a lot for a family of 4 but with xmas coming up, I suspect they will be eaten. The one thing we did notice with the dozen we made for Thanksgiving, they only last about 3 days before the filled shell becomes soggy, we drained the ricotta 24 hours this time with a cheese cloth so the filling came out well. So I would not fill until you are at most 48 hours before you plan to serve them. I plan to store them in airtight bags until xmas rolls in, I don't think freezing is a good idea because of moisture

I never liked cannoli, but that's because I never had a good one. I wanted to make them for a friend and read a lot of reviews before deciding on Giusto Sapore Sicilian Cannoli Shells. These shells made my first attempt at making cannoli a raving success. I made them for my friend and brought some to a get together. They disappeared even before my apple struddle.
The shells arrived in perfect condition, not one was broken. They were really well packed in original packaging with individual trays of 6 each and layered alternating direction. Will buy these again, many times. They're imported from Italy and they're actually very fresh.

These are small cannoli shells, not ‘regular’, even tough that’s what the package says. They’re only about 2.5 inches long.

Also, roughly 1/3 of the shells were broken. The smaller box was put in a big box, with no cushion, so the smaller box knocked around quite a bit. And they weren’t marked ‘fragile’, or ‘perishable’.

I can’t comment on the taste right now, because I just received them. However, when I try them, I’ll edit my review.
