What a grumpy man. But he was the most handsome man she had ever seen. And he is the most perfect man for her and her book, he is grumpy, a boxer, and he has a broken nose. Sarge doesn’t think he would be anything to this little woman standing in front of him demanding he let her draw him, but she is convincing.

Oh my. Cassie. This was amazing!! Sarge was such a softy, so gentle with her. Phoebe, shy, not really, determined would be a better description of her. I couldn’t put this book down, it was amazing and I can’t wait for more!!.

How do I express how much I LOVED this quick and steamy romance? How do I explain the adoration for these characters? How do I wrap up all the feelings I had while reading this book? That’s a hard ask, so maybe buy this book and experience it for yourself!

Sarge and Phoebe are both socially awkward characters. Sarge is large and scarred, and people tend to shy away from him in fear. Phoebe is small and artsy, with a weirdness that keeps people at a distance. What they really needed was each other. They are perfect compliments to each other and are meant for one another. I loved the dual virgin storyline as well. I also loved the use of Sarge’s love of fighting and how perfectly Phoebe fit into that world with him! Definitely a MUST READ romance so pick up a copy today and enjoy every moment.
