The first time I read a Marie Wilkens haunted story I was mildly impressed, had nice plot, twists etc. After reading 3 I began seeing a trend. They are ALL EXACTLY the same! Just change the names and voila! A new story!
Someone inherits a fortune from someone they didn't or barely knew existed.
The heirs are all in a pinch and/or broke.
One of the heirs acts like they don't need or want money.
There's always a mysterious diary the the heirs don't have time to read.
Of course the spooky cemetery on the estate.
They have to stay at the estate for 3 months or lose everything.
Blah blah blah.......
