The idea of a 90s trivia game is great. The game play itself was too challenging. The timer is quick, we used our phones so we could get more time per round. Some cards you have to read are too long for the short amount of time per round. Some of the questions were stupid questions like recite 3 friends childhood home phone numbers. I could list anything and none of my friends would’ve known any different lol. We all called it quits on this game early and chucked it up as good idea, bad execution.
This game was so much fun!! I bought it for a family vacation & we played about 5 or 6 times. It was 5 adults playing & we still have tons of cards left for more games without repeating cards. Our only complaint was that some of the competition cards had topics that were too general but we managed despite this. We also got 2 questions that were for mature ages but luckily for us we were all in our 20s & 30s but just keep that in mind when playing with kids or young teens. Overall super fun game!!
We didn’t play all the cards but we chose to just do it like plain trivia and seeing who could get the answers. My family loved it , just a bunch of adults drinking and having a good time! At first some were worried they would’ve too old to guess some of the answers thinking it would just be pop culture trivia but they have so many different questions to appeal to everyone at different ages in the 90s. Everyone ended up loving it !
If you were a child or teen of the 90's, this is nostalgia in a box. My husband and I love to play games with friends and have a hard time finding games that aren't repetitive or ornery. This is a game that we love to play when the kids are around so we don't have to worry about what we are saying and because it reminds us of what we enjoyed when we were kids. Even better is the Spotify playlist that they have to go along with the game! Put on your parachute pants and brush up on your 90's slang so you can "Whip It" out of the park.
Tried to play this with 3 people and it just wasn’t easy. Too many questions involve “working with your team members” so if you are just 3 people playing against each other, you have to skip those. We still managed to play, but just way too many cards we had to skip. Would only be worth it if you have 4 - 6 people, or more.
this game is SUPER FUN and really entertaining for medium to large groups! the questions are interesting and the activities are really entertaining. Only down side is that you only play to 7 points, but we threw that rule out real quick and just kept playing for funzies. Definitely recommend!!!
This game is so much fun! My daughter is having a 90s birthday party and this game is perfect! There are easy questions and harder questions, a timer, and instructions but it's easy to play. Good for kids 8-9 & up!
