This is a simple, effective bike rack. Minimal trouble installing it, and it is sleek so can stay installed all summer. I've only ever used it for one bike, but it's almost perfect. The only thing that would increase to 5 stars is if the strap system was a locking ratchet type where I could be sure it wouldn't slip. The straps are very lengthy. Also the arms that hold the bikes tend to sway a bit when not locked in. I use a velcro type strap to secure them. On a RAV4, since you have to remove the factory tire cover, I purchased a vinyl one to protect the tire. The tire rack installs right over it. Works awesome.
