Good anti pull harness

Purchased size large as my bearded collie cross old English sheep dog named Stella is 30 kg but 90 cm in the chest. This chest measurement is the upper limit for the large harness. I found this tended to be too tight on her, so after a week of trying this size of harness, I purchased the xl size. This has worked out much better for both of us. Stella, a natural herder of cats, deer and the occasional black bear, is much easier to control during our trail walks with this harness. I would recommend this harness for any dog that tends to pull.

Very similar to Easy Walk

Fits very similar to the Easy Walk by Petsafe, with the strap across the shoulders. I find this style almost impossible to fit on my Husky, so I have to return. He's got narrow shoulders and a slim chest and is very fluffy so getting it two fingers tight is very difficult. This causes the harness to rub his arm pits badly.

Otherwise the Velvet padding looked good and the harness seems like a very good quality. Also came with leash which wasn't in the original listing. The leash is very strong looking.

WORTH THE MONEY - QUALITY AND GOOD FIT

This harness is the best one out there for pulling and lead control. I've tried many different ones and this is by far the best. First of all it is quality material and well designed with the comfort of the dog in mind. It is totally adjustable and when I put it on my collie pup I was delighted to see how comfortable it looked and how well it fit. It doesn't shift, hang down or get out of alignment as I found all the other harnesses do. I highly recommend this over an easy walker. Easy walker is sold everywhere and was such a bad fit on my collie that I had to tie elastics around the front piece to make it tighten at all around his chest. What a waste of money. I am so fortunate to have found the Freedom harness.

I can't believe someone didn't figure this out sooner -- make a hoop to put over your dog's neck, and then clip the tummy and chest straps to it! SO much more simple than having a wiggly Fido step into two rings for each front leg so you can connect and make the same hoop behind the neck. The front leash attachment, on the chest, provides enough side-pull to keep our Labs from pulling as much as when the top leash attachment is used. Your choice of rings to use. The top ring works on our other Lab who does not pull. We also bought the two-clasp leash to see if using both harness rings really made much difference against pulling. No, and not worth the money at all. I got a nasty leash burn when the attached hande strap slipped against the main leash strap in such a way my wrist got caught. But the harness itself is great, highly recommended over rival products from the big mail order catalogues that we have had in the past.

Broken after 7 months

I have two of these harnesses purchased at separate times through Amazon. The first I bought in 2016 and it's still working like a charm. The second one I purchased in July of 2019 and it recently snapped at the clip and my dog got loose. I'm pretty disappointed with the quality of the second harness given how sturdy the first is. I've recommended 2 Hound's no-pull harnesses on numerous occasions, but not sure I'd trust the quality any longer. 2 Hounds also don't seem to have a warranty unless you purchase the "chewing" warranty directly through their website, which wasn't the case for me. So if it breaks, looks like you're out $35.

I purchased this at the recommendation of my dog trainer. I can't say enough good things about this harness. We've tried another harness and multiple leashes to walk our boxer, but this, BY FAR, takes the cake. Right now I attach my leash to the attachment on the front. It really helps to turn his body and correct his behavior. Once he learns to walk better, I can change where the leash attaches and I love the variability of this harness. I WILL NOT walk my dog without this harness. It's that good!

Ripped Day One! What is up with theses harnesses?

This is the third harness I have purchased in four years! The first two ripped also. This one is ripped on the first day wearing it - two hours at a restaurant with Mateo lying by my side. (NO he did not chew it! ) With all of the complaints about durability, you would think the company would figure this out by now. I’m a glutton for punishment I guess. I love the function and fit for a standard poodle. It’s maddening! Not to mention dangerous if it rips all the way through while out in the real world with it!

I've had this harness for 2 months now. It's the only one that fits my deep chested, yet skinny necked german shepherd. I've had to return several other types of harnesses because they were not adjustable enough to fit my boy. As a no pull tool, it offers some control, but is by no means a fix. He figured out within 2 walks that he wasn't actually bothered by the tightening. He's a lunatic though and is very easily triggered. He's pulled suddenly and hard a few times and it's held up so far. The straps don't seem to bother him, but he's also super fluffy.

The 1" large fits by 65 lb boxy labrador quite well and there is plenty of room to size up or down. I like the fact that my dog doesn't have to step into it to put it on. It easily slips over the head and clips around the chest. The rings and clasps are sturdy and thick and look like they could handle a strong puller. I have another amazon harness (rabitgoo) that works well but is a bit heavy with all the additional padding. This will be much nicer on our summer walks and will dry out much faster after swimming. Overall, quality product and worth 30 dollars.

absolutely a miracle design. My dog is a wonder, have never seen a dog pull on a madrigal collar as she does. Even when she's choking, she keeps pulling. This acts on the same principle, but its around the chest. When the dog is being impossible and ignoring everything but what ever it is that has her attention, this offers enough grip around the dog that you can restrain them without hurting them. Most of the time, she responds perfectly to the whole idea of being controlled with this thing. But when that speeding car DEMANDS her attention, or that coyote teases her beyond endurance, this harness lets me keep her out of harms way.

This is my dogs favorite harness and I feel is more reliable. Yes, I’ve bought this 4 times because my aggressive chewer keeps chewing through it, but that is my fault. This is the only harness he will let me put on him without thinking it’s a game. The way it’s designed makes it a quick put on and take off. I like how it has a front and top loop to attach a single or double sided leash. I have to double leash my dog and it’s nice I don’t have to use a neck collar and the harness all the time.
