Good anti pull harness

Purchased size large as my bearded collie cross old English sheep dog named Stella is 30 kg but 90 cm in the chest. This chest measurement is the upper limit for the large harness. I found this tended to be too tight on her, so after a week of trying this size of harness, I purchased the xl size. This has worked out much better for both of us. Stella, a natural herder of cats, deer and the occasional black bear, is much easier to control during our trail walks with this harness. I would recommend this harness for any dog that tends to pull.

Very similar to Easy Walk

Fits very similar to the Easy Walk by Petsafe, with the strap across the shoulders. I find this style almost impossible to fit on my Husky, so I have to return. He's got narrow shoulders and a slim chest and is very fluffy so getting it two fingers tight is very difficult. This causes the harness to rub his arm pits badly.

Otherwise the Velvet padding looked good and the harness seems like a very good quality. Also came with leash which wasn't in the original listing. The leash is very strong looking.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with the product. I’ve tried other harnesses but those really chafed my dog and/or it didn’t fit as nicely as this one. I took one star away because after a really long use, my dog lost some fur on her chest where the harness was placed but no where near as much as other products.

Not for my Border Collie!

My 7 yr old Border Collie's constant pulling and lunging while on leash did not improve at all. The first day he was a little better, but the next day he totally went back to his aggressive behavior, the leash didn't phase him at all. I finally called in a professional trainer and he no longer pulls, lunges or chases!!

Not escape proof!

Not escape proof! I bought this harness for a recent new foster dog. It has definitely not helped with her pulling but I just wanted something that felt safer while we were out walking versus using her Martingale collar. This was fitted on her properly however yesterday we were approached by a stray dog and in the chaos she backed out of this harness. This could have been tragic but thankfully she came right to me and I was able to clip her leash to her Martingale collar. From now on I will have her double clipped but I wanted to warn other people with flight risk dogs that this harness is not escape proof.

Works great! Ive got a big 80lb pyrenees anatolian mix and she was starting to pull on hikes/walks. She's only 8 months so I knew I needed to nip this before she got bigger. I got a gentle leader which works great but I know she hates it. Even though ill use it if I need to, I tried hooking the leash in the front on this harness and it works very well to keep her from pulling. We've had this a couple months now and its still working well! Sturdy, easy to adjust, and hasn't rubbed on her that I have seen. I would recommend the double leash that this can come with if you really have a tugger!

Looks exactly as pictured. Good sturdy quality. Got two larges in the teal for our german shepherd and rottweiler girls. Works well to stop them from pulling so much but of course when a bunny runs by, nothing is going to stop them, not even this. I prefer harnesses over collars to attach leashes to and this is the best one I've used. It's cheaper to buy directly from their site though and the site also does free repairs if your dog chews on it or something. And they can do exact fittings if you send them your dogs measurements.

Great News--A No Pull Harness that Works!!

Great product. Fits my dog perfectly and really does decrease the pulling. Highly recommend this product. I had one that I got for a much larger dog that would literately pull me off my feet without it. We got another, smaller, dog and needed a second harness. One thing to say about it, if you don't already own a leash with hooks at each end, then get the leash that goes with it. For the harness to be effective in reducing pulling and give the human more control the harness must be leashed to the hook in the front and at the top of the harness. This gives the human the ability to turn the dog more easily when they start to pull as well as give control from the top. The harness does not appear to be uncomfortable, is easy to put on, and does not seem to apply undue pressure at pain points on the dog. And, they look great!! And, the manufacturer really does honor the warranty. My dog chewed up the straps--it was my error leaving the harness on while the dog was in the crate, and the manufacturer replaced the straps quickly and without question for the minimal cost of return postage. All in all an outstanding harness, manufacturer, and the seller was great, too!!

I love this harness! My mother gave me a medium when my lab was a puppy and I recently put him in a large. My lab has recently developed allergies and unfortunately this harness has rubbed a large area of hair off both sides of this front legs. It is well made. It’s made of the highest quality materials, is incredibly sturdy and does not stretch out.
