(If you were wondering where I got my mic, I got it from Amazon Warehouse deals which was "Used - Like new" meaning the package was returned most likely because the box was damaged but was never opened and Amazon isn't aloud to sell anything with any sort of damage. I was told "99% of the time it's usually the box that gets damaged". I chose Amazon Warehouse because I originally ordered for $140-$160 for the "New" option on just Amazon, but cancelled the order being unsure and noticed they raised the price to $200 immediately after I cancelled. Warehouse deals sold it the same price that I originally ordered for new, so I went with that and everything thankfully worked like it should (Delivery was from ASL which is a new courier service that doesn't have the rough reputation as a warning). That does NOT mean you will guaranteed get a perfect microphone, and this mic was $130 once upon a time on Amazon and nobody should pay any more than $200, but in my opinion I'd only pay at most $160-$170 for good reason).
This microphone has a build in pop filter that isn't something you'd want to work with if you're speaking up close to it, but the red LED glows right through the pop filter material really well and I love the look of it despite other people saying the quality of the parts is a bit cheaper than some would like it to be. The fact it's a "gaming microphone", it should only have cardioid but this has 4 polar patterns. If you are using a mic only for gaming, I'd suggest looking for a mic that only has cardioid (But if you want the best budget mic, I'd go for the Razer Seiren Mini for $50 which sounds pretty amazing for the price)
People complained it wasn't loud enough but that could be just a defective microphone although that was a common issue, but I noticed the gain dial isn't really that good and doesn't do much depending what it's used for. If you want the most of it's output quality, you can filter it on your PC and it sounds like an expensive podcast microphone. It's what you get for the price as it's plug and play, it uses mini USB which a lot of people hate the most despite it being a thick cable so I see no issue on that, shock mount to reduce noise hitting the desk (I highly suggest a boom arm to make the most of the shock mount), AND you get a decent but sort of heavy mic stand with an adapter so overall I say for the extra polar patterns, shock mount, LED only, gain control, touch to mute, works on PS4 PC and Mac, it's a fair price because this microphone will last you.
This mic is not advised if you were looking to use it for singing or music as their's way better options out there I'm told, but it definitely does the job and I personally think the quality is great unfiltered if you're not looking for perfection. Picks up bass in your voice but needs a pop filter, can fit on most boom arms, has great noise cancelling if you get it reasonably priced in my opinion, the touch to mute is original and turns off the LED when muted to let you know when the mic is hot or mute, and it's a popular brand. People complain the LED is distracting when you have the mic in front of you, but I have it on a boom arm above my and it sounds perfect and still had noise cancellation for fan and keyboard sounds.
FYI FOR PS4 PLAYERS: You can bypass the microphone monitoring (hearing yourself) by following:
1: go to your settings, devices, audio devices
2: (With switch Output device Automatically turned on) plug your microphone in to connect and then unplug it
3: plug your headset/headphone jack to your controller followed by unchecking the box in "switch Output device automatically"
4: plug your microphone back in and your input should set to your microphone while your output is your headset/headphone (Keep in mind that this has to be done every time you unplug the microphone or turn off the console, but it doesn't bother me any). -And yes, it sounds great on my opinion and my friends' on PS4 if you aren't looking for total perfection.
Don't just take my word for it, search up microphone test reviews and you can hear how well it sounds compared to pretty expensive mics that can go up to $800. If you are scared you aren't gonna get your money's worth or you are gonna get something messed up in the package; settle for a blue yeti for cardioid or get the Razer Seiren mini which has super cardioid (super cardioid will require you to have your mic 135° degrees on a boom arm to keep away from keyboard or fan sounds). Hope this helps! I've only used this mic for a small amount of time, but I think it's only worth it ONLY for the sake of me not paying a full $200 as I got it free delivery as well

Pros:
The Microphone looks amazing with the Red RGB light.
The built quality is excellent and feels premium.
The quality of the microphone is some of the best I have ever heard for the price.
It has a shock absorber and comes with a stand.
Cons:
There are no cons.
Final thoughts:
This microphone is perfect! You should buy this microphone!

Pros:
+ Very intuitive mute/unmute system, convenient gain control dial
+ Warmer sound, but overall has a good balance to sound natural
+ Four polar patterns to choose from, which is handy for things other than gaming
+ Build quality looks solid but still is quite light
+ Built-in audio jack for a monitor mode
+ Shock mount and pop filter included!
Cons:
- Red lighting unable to be changed
- Gain control printing is inaccurate
- Mute/unmute area is matte and gets easily smudged
- A bit on the higher end for pricing on "gamer stand-up mics", however there are additional features for the premium pricing
With these in mind, I still believe this microphone is a very solid 9.5/10 as most arguments are trivial and doesn't detract at all from the function of the mic. Great work HyperX!
