My child not only is gender dysphoric but also has ASD spd and adhd so getting them to sit so I can explain that although hey feel like a girl they are in a boys body has been very near impossible and in truth they refused to accept that explaination.
Then today this book arrives. Simply written with beautiful illustrations my child must have read this book at least 10 times in a few hours before declaring to myself and my Mother that they were just like Jazz - a girls brain in a boys body.
Well done Jazz Jennings. You are a brave girl and with the others that worked on this book with you have made it a complete triumph and have succeeded where I have failed in helping my little one understand what's happening.
Thank you, thank you and thank you again
Brilliantly written and illustrations
