Since fusions are known for breaking the handles on the inside no need for oem since it might break again in the future cheaper to end up buying 2 of these in the long run the handle it self dosnt sit as flush as the oem but not a huge deal would buy again

I think it's good enough! I just installed it and it feels and looks just like the OEM. Dealers and other shops charge about $200 for this job plus the part. I called an auto parts place for a price and they said $80. Can't go wrong with 19.

This is kind of an interesting situation with these Fusion handles. Do you buy the less expensive pulls whose quality you don't know, or buy the expensive OEM handles that you know are going to breakdown in around 8 years. I decided that the less expensive handles were acceptable. These handles seem nicely made, and they came well packaged. They were a perfect replacement for the factory handles. There are videos on Youtube that explain the change-out process fairly well. It is not terribly difficult, but you might want to buy a few of the snaps that hold the door panels in place because you are likely to bust off a few removing the panels. It probably took me 20 minutes for the first door, and 10 minutes for the second since I knew what I was doing. Make sure you have a set of the Torx screwdrivers and a panel removing tool before you start the process. You can of course just order them on Amazon at the same time.

I found several videos on how to replace this handle. It was a little harder than I thought it would be but not by much. I've heard the dealer asks more than $200 for this repair but I did it myself instead. An even better idea would be for Ford to stop making this high-use latch out of plastic. Since that is extremely unlikely to happen, use this instead. Even a non-mechanical person like me had it done in about half an hour. (note - it requires a couple of odd size bits that you might not have if you, like me, are not a shade tree mechanic. Several auto part stores will loan these to you for free. I used Auto Zone.)

For a fraction of the price of the local parts store, this was delivered on time, well packaged, and took all of 5 minutes to install. Could not have been easier to replace. Exact replacement fit and looks exactly like OEM. Not sure why there are complains about the parts being made of plastic as that is what the OEM is made of... thus why it broke (which was my fault). Can’t speak to long turn durability but knowing how the original handle broke, I’ll be more mindful of what the cause was and therefore be more careful. Would recommend this product.
