Butter Pecan in the morning

The smell is wonderful for this coffee and it promises a good cup. The grind brings forth the aromas of pecan, fresh coffee beans and sweetness but nothing to worry about until you take your first sip. Even though I use spring water, my first sip was overpowered by artificial sugar and the nuttiness that I was looking for in this type of coffee, was gone. Rest assured, I followed the guidelines of coffee/water ratio to make a good coffee but still, the sweetness was omnipresent in my cup. It is not a bad thing mind you for a desert coffee but maybe not in the morning for me...in sum, i would still buy it if I would have nothing else to compensate with.

Not a very good nut flavoured coffee

This seemed like a good idea at the time. I've had another flavour from Java Works (English Toffee) that I thought was quite good. This is not. The pecan flavour is indistinct and flat. The coffee itself is of medium quality at best. Frankly, this product tastes like someone added ground stale pecans to a batch of coffee. It has none of the smoothness and depth of flavour that one would expect from a product that claims the title of 'Butter Pecan' . There was none of the richness that the word butter suggests. All in all, this is a disappointment.

I, like a previous reviewer, enjoyed the English Toffee flavour, and the Butter Pecan flavor seemed like a good idea to me too; however, it tastes weird and smells even weirder in the bag. When I opened it I was expecting the typical "ahhhh fresh coffee beans" smell but instead it was overwhelmingly artificial. I ended up mixing it with a strong full bodied bean I enjoy to avoid wasting it.
I do normally enjoy Java Works flavoured coffee beans, though. English Toffee, Pumpkin Spice, and Gingerbread Crisp are all very nice when served fresh.

Flavoured, but can't put my finger on it

I purchased this after thoroughly enjoying their coconut macaroon flavoured coffee which was excellent.
Unfortunately, I couldn't put my finger on the flavour in this coffee. It was definitely flavoured, but to me didn't taste anything like butter pecan. It's still enjoyable; just not what I had been expecting though.

Really bad coffee. Has an awful taste, tried it with espresso, Americano, latte, cappuccino and the taste is so bitter. I’ve also tried adding milk, or flavoured cream and nothing makes this coffee decent. I regret buying 2 flavours as I can’t even return unopened flavour.
