Jody Revenson writes extensively about the wizarding world's films. Recent books include "Harry Potter Crafting Wizardry" and "Harry Potter Magical Creatures A Movie Scrapbook." She started her foray into the wizarding world by contributing to the New York Times bestsellers "Harry Potter: Film Wizardry" (penning two updated versions and an App) and "Harry Potter: Page to Screen," and assisted with the Harry Potter Poster Collections "Quintessential Images" and "Definitive Posters." For the "Harry Potter: Page to Screen Limited Edition," she authored "The Paintings of Hogwarts," "The Creature Shop Compendium," "Movie Magic: Practical Props and Exciting Effects," "Environments Envisioned," "Wizard Wear & Muggle Attire," and "Ten Years Later: Life On Set with the Harry Potter Cast and Crew." She also authors books for younger wizards, including the Incredibuilds models series featuring Aragog, Buckbeak, House-Elves, Quidditch, Stag Patronus, Sorting Hat, Hogwarts Crest, and Animal Companions of the Wizarding World.
Jody wrote Insight Editions' "Vault" series: "Harry Potter: The Character Vault," "Harry Potter: The Creature Vault," "Magical Places from the Harry Potter Films," and "Harry Potter: The Artifact Vault." She has also penned books for Insight's Movie Scrapbook series including books about The Dark Arts, Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, Spells and Charms, and Christmas at Hogwarts. Jody has also written in Walt Disney's world, especially for and about the Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks with such books as "Popping Up Around Walt Disney World," "Disneyland Challenge," and eight years of souvenir books for both parks. For Disney's live-action films, she co-authored "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Pirate's Guidelines" and "Treasure Planet: A Voyage of Discovery." She also had the privilege of spending a weekend in Chicago with Winnie the Pooh. Jody wrote for DC Comics on the Looney Tunes and Tiny Toons comic books, and for MAD Magazine.
