I was afraid that this movie was going to be bad. After the first John Wick, which was a surprising good action flick, I feared that this sequel was just going to be a bad cash-grab. I was wrong: this movie is fantastic.
It does start-off with a boring scene as far as I'm concerned (the car scene at the beginning), but this is actually the weakest moment in the film. Other actions scenes were great, performances good overall, an improvement on the first movie.
I also like how the "assassin underworld" is fleshed out here, giving us a glimpse to this quite bizarre universe John Wick has (though, admittedly, I think at one particular point at the very end things goes a bit far with this).
I can only hope for another worthy sequel.
