About Josh Hestermann
Josh Hestermann is a zoologist and author. He and his wife Bethanie (a freelance writer and author) co-write animal-science books for kids. They've written Zoology for Kids, Marine Science for Kids, Search the Ocean: Find the Animals, Search the Zoo: Find the Animals, and Ocean Animals for Kids. The Fascinating Ocean Book for Kids is now available for pre-order. Josh currently works as a zoologist at the Orange County Zoo. He has worked as the Husbandry Manager at the California Science Center, a senior mammalogist at the Aquarium of the Pacific, a senior animal care specialist working with marine mammals at Brookfield Zoo, and a keeper, presenter, and educator at Phoenix Zoo. He has led research trips to study California sea lions in Mexico and participated in the Chicago Zoological Society's Sarasota Dolphin Research Program in Sarasota Bay, Florida.
