I lost a pin off my excavator bucket, Was hours by hand with no luck then I got this. Found the pin within 5mins, which paid for the metal detector in finding the bucket pin alone. Good for picking up nails on driveways etc too, easy to use and assembly is very simple. Seller is very friendly.

I bought this for my 9 year olds birthday party. We had a treasure hunt themed birthday party where I buried objects around my property and gave them clues where each item was hidden and we had attached coins to the treasure’s so the detector could find them.They were able to find all of the treasures with this metal detector along with some stuff that had been buried in our backyard previously.This is light enough for 7-10 year olds to use quite easily for over an hour without them tiring.My son is excited to be able to go with his dad to the beach this summer to hopefully find some “cool stuff” in the sand.We had tested out the detector before hand to make sure the kids could find the items and the detector found them buried (some we hid quite far down) easily.It will light up and you can hear louder consistent beeps when you get close to items or you can insert headphones if want. It also breaks down so easy for storage.Overall, I would definitely recommend this to others. It is a great gift to give or if you need to find stuff that you lost.Please keep in mind it does NOT come with batteries (large smoke detector size x2) so will need to have some to be able to use. The battery power seems great, used for hours and still has lots of battery life.Oh also bonus, it comes with a spade to be able to dig up the items.
