The Kinetic Traxle is a precision-machined replacement axle for mountain bikes that easily adapts any 12mm thru-axle system to firmly lock into trainer cone cups. Specifically engineered to work on Kinetic trainers, the system is still adaptable enough to work with most other trainer brands making it a perfect solution for bike shop fitting stations and home-use alike.. The Kinetic Traxle comes in 3 thread pitches, coarse, medium and fine, to fit most bike brands. Unlike stock thru-axles, the Kinetic Traxle has tapered heads that stand out just far enough from from the bike frame to fit into the cone cups on a Kinetic trainer.. Bike frame manufacturers determine thread pitch on their frame sets. It's important to know which thread pitch your bike uses before ordering a Traxle. For instance, DT Swiss makes axles based on manufacturer specifications not a standard single thread pitch, so refer to bike manufacturer to determine which Traxle you need.. Compatible with Shimano rear axle designation including (but not limited to):. Pivot, Yeti, Bianchi (14), Rocky Mountain, BH, Redline, Giant 27.5 models, Diamondback Models; Scapegoat, Slopestyle, Mission Series, Sortie 29 Series.

For those just want to buy ONE thru axle, since this was not included with the trainer for heaven knows why. Yes this will work with kickr snap(tho wahoo has a specific taper this doesnt have). You'll need to play with spacer positioning to center your wheel...
HOWEVER!!! The kickr stand's coupler has harder metal, and the axle head has softer metal, i have metal scrapings after a few rides already, as well as a 1mm gouge ring around the head spacer. best to shimm a piece of rubber btwn metal to metal contact point. otherwise it fits very nicely.
*2000km update. The end cap has now worn to the point where the bike no longer stabilize fairly. So for wahoo folks you may need to buy the oem kit, or find a machine shop to machine the specific taper on your cap.
**and i am surprised no one made a stiffer end cap yet.
