A good rope. Even works for wakeboarding when shortened. The grip is nice, however the glue seam which is hard, is located right where the most pressure on your hand is. This does become noticeable / uncomfortable after a skiing for a few minutes. Reversing the location would make the grip very comfortable when skiing for more than a few minutes.

Terrible rope

We purchased two of these ropes. One of them had to be put back together several times because it was spliced in many different locations, and the other was put together so that the handle was completely crooked. The one with the crooked handle could not be used because it would hurt the skiers hand and they had to hold it completely sideways. Extremely disappointed and wish I could return them, but the return widow is closed. Do not buy these!!!!

I purchased this rope for my grandkids to use knee boarding, they are 10 and 11. I flew them out from Texas and we went to the lake. Very first time I took them out the rope frayed in several places. My grandkids are not speed demons doing specialty tricks or anything that would have placed any undo strain on the rope, they just ride behind the boat in the middle. I AM VERY UNHAPPY THERE IS NOT A RETURN AVAILABLE ON THIS ROPE!!!!!!!!!! I may have just received a "bad" one but can't talk to anyone about it!!!

Bad handle

The grip on the handle ripped after 5 weeks of use twice a week. The curve / bend was not as much as in the photo. It twists around during use so the next person needs to adjust the rope around the handle. The rope came with a small fray. Not as good as Airhead's other 8 section rope we got 2 years ago. The rope slipped through the handle making it an uneven triangle.
Edit: Customer Service was very quick to respond after the 30 days and sent a better rope.
