I had to make modifications to this cup for it to work with my bike. But if anything I would remove the rubber on the inside of the cup holder as it would only allow for a very skinny cup. When I did that it stilled worked very well. But this is one expensive cupholder to make all these changes on.

it’s almost perfect if i didnt have to customize it. the cup holder or the cup locker whatever its called is a solid hard rubber.(in the red circle) which is hard to put your drinks in even when you want to pull your drinks out of it. so i had to cut it off so I can put my drink in. after that its all good. worked great for my scooter. **sorry for my english grammar. thank you

Bought this product for a friend. However I believe this is made for cruiser motorcycles. My friend has adventure bike (kawasaki versus) and his previous cup holder was a RAM open cup holder (flew off on the road). My friend found this one more convenient bc he says he can put not only his drinks but it also hold his ear plugs and holds burritos 😆. I consider it dynamic. Dynamic bc it moves with the motorcycle (canyons runs,off roading or daily driving) . It keeps the cup from coming off and if you buy a correct thermus/lidded cup of course. The fabric helps with the insulation and also hugging your choice of cup/ thermus. I really liked that I can't adjust the rubber teeth on the top that sustanins the cup. On my pics you won't see the rubber teeth on it bc my friend removed them to fit a bigger thermous. Considering I bought this product for the wrong motorcycle my friend and I think its great and convinient. Going on 2 years strong.

Super easy to install. Very large range of motion to position your cup as you want. The only caveat is the rubber teeth in the cup holder are very thick and therefore would not allow anything but the thinnest cup inside. I remedied this situation by taking my scissors and cutting the rubber teeth out of the cup holder ring. Now it works perfectly.

I've had mine a few months now. I was simple to install, it's well made and I don't think I was ripped off.

However, this is not for Starbucks style coffee cups. If you don't jam the cup down into the holder so hard you risk collapsing the cup, the coffee cup will work its way out of the cup holder and fall out. I've dumped at least a half dozen cups of coffee on the freeways of southern California that way.

What it is perfect for is small bottles of water. I use it primarily for that riding in CA. It can be used for the coffee cups if you constantly remember to push the cup back down ... forget tho, and you'll not have your coffee and it will be all over your pant leg and your bike (I have mine mounted on my forward crash guard of my Road King).

I will eventually replace the holder with one that will cradle the Starbucks style cup, or I may even make my own. A holder with a third of a tennis ball at the bottom for a cushion is all you really need, not all this other fancy stuff.

This is a pretty nice little cup holder. Came with a bunch of rubber inserts with the clamp for different thickness of bars. Unfortunately the bulbous mounting clamp limited the placement options on my 2014 Honda Forza as I couldn’t get it around my bars past my brake fluid reservoirs due to the size of the mount. I ultimately had to clamp it to the end of my left handlebar. The ball clamp is nice because I can swivel it out when I have something in it and in when I’m not using it. It sorta gets in the way when I’m turning tight trying to park when it’s swiveled out but otherwise it’s fine. The rubber teeth meant to secure the beverage in the holder kinda crush most normal size fast food cups, but I had a medium paper drink cup from DQ in it tonight up to 65 MPH and it never seemed like I was gonna lose it at all, it was very secure. I think is more meant for like a solid refillable water bottle or a 20 oz soda type bottle as the basket is long/tall, and a regular sized can sits down below the rubber teeth. The cup holder is not self leveling, but is very sturdy vertically once you tighten it down but you can still move it laterally with the clamp tightened to position it laterally. Overall it’s a nice cup holder that holds my drinks securely at high speeds, and I would recommend it, especially if you have lots of open bar space.
