This is the perfect book for a toddler - short enough that they don't lose interest but a bit more complex than a board book. Illustrations are completely adorable and it goes through colours and techniques for apple picking that are age appropriate. And a great price!

Not Suggested for Pre-K or Whole Group Read Alouds

I think this is a good book to read 1:1 to a five year old or K-1 student, but it’s a little too wordy for 3-4 year olds and kind of long. It’s also fairly small (hence the name little golden book) so keep that in mind if you want to read to a big group.
