As always, I love the work of Taylor Stevens. This is quite different from the Vanessa Michael Munroe series but just as gripping. She has set up a new series in a unique new setting that is exciting and shows great promise for the unfolding story. I can’t wait for the next one.

Writing as taut as the action

Those familiar with Taylor Steven's writing style may find there's very little room for air in her new book. The action is non-stop and the intrigue hits it out of the ballpark, leaving the reader panting for more. We are allowed some insight into the characters but the reader knows there's more ..... so much more and I have no doubt Stevens will take us there.

I tried to prolong the reading but I’ve finished Liars Paradox and I’m in withdrawals now. That was a roller coaster of a read - so much happened so fast, and now my brain and heart are duking it out for “most stimulated” award. Good job! Fingers crossed for a follow-up...?

Has elements of Bourne (old spies and buried secrets) and Hannah (highly trained offspring with mysterious parent) but avoids following the same path. Gives an insight into the difficult life of agents with no gadgets but constantly looking over their shoulders.

It was a very compelling story, I couldn't stop until it was done. I'm still thinking about their mother and whether or not she could have done anything differently. I hated her for most of it, but by the end I admired her as well. It's so complicated- I love it! I love it how the siblings aren't just all perfect and you portray their relationship with the ambivalence and intensity of real life siblings. You really hit the spot, I can't wait to hear more from Jack and Jill!

I just finished Liars' Paradox and all I can say is I am still a bit shell-shocked. I loved Taylor Steven's Vanessa Michael Monroe novels but Liars' Paradox really blew me away.

It is rare that I read something that evokes such involvement in the characters and story line as LP has for me. Terrific characters, an outstanding plot, excellent suspense, all bound together in incredible style make this a book not to be missed. The ending was spectacular and I really look forward to many more in this series.

I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a great thriller!

I love Taylor Stevens. The Informationist is probably one the the 5 best books I’ve read in the past 10 years and VMM in the top 3 characters. I knew a new story was coming and maybe I’m just bummed and missing Michael. However, in all honesty, there just wasn’t enough story here. I get all the “identity” changes, but along with not adding much, it just added confusion. And although there were not many characters, there was still very little fleshing out of what made them who they are. Maybe this was a set up for more to come, and since it’s Taylor, I’ll jump on again, but if anyone hasn’t read The Informationist, get it. Now.
