Pros:
I was surprised to find a wide-sized shoe and managed to score a deal ($27) for it! Wore it for the first time today. The fit was good, and I normally like to wear several thin socks, especially during cooler weather. I remained comfortable after walking for about an hour.

Cons:
The material is definitely not leather, but does a good job of fooling anybody. Not sure how durable this shoe would be since my past experience with non-leather shoes have been that they didn't last long. The upper part of the shoe is rubbing/ hitting against the bottom of my outer ankle as I walk, which would have definitely caused pain if I hadn't been wearing several socks. This problem could easily be resolved by making the boot slightly taller or shorter.

Very cute and comfy shoes, fit as expected. Just don’t walk outside. The exterior of the shoe is actually some type of paper/cardboard substance with a thin layer of darker brown paint. Wore these for ONE day and toes were ruined. I wasn’t expecting the very highest quality for this price, but I thought I’d get more than one day of use. To achieve this level of damage, I window shopped for two hours and went in a 1 mile hike on a dry mulched pathway. Based on the paper construction, these shoes should absolutely never get wet. Unfortunately I will never get the chance to test that.

UPDATE/EDIT: while I’ve not had reason to wear these as much as anticipated due to a pandemic and all, I’ve still worn them plenty over the last several years. They still look like new. I’ll admit, I’ve mostly worn them to the office, traveling on airplanes, out to restaurants and bars and parties, church, and not worn them much outside beyond maybe some outdoor malls. But I am still very happy with them. I am toying with buying them in a second color - as soon as I clean out some of the shoes I never wear. I do wear these, in fall/winter I probably wear them about 2-3 times per week.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I loved the look of these boots and was in the market to replace a pair that I had worn out completely. I have some minor foot issues and can no longer wear anything with much of a heel, so I was excited to see these had such a low heel while still looking nice enough to wear with dressy jeans and pants to go out, or even wear to work. I usually wear a 7.5 but sometimes size up to an 8 for things that look like the toes might be cramped - which is what I did with these.
When they first arrived, I was so disappointed! I tried to put them on and they were so stiff and small I could barely cram my foot into them. I planned to return them. Today I went to pack them up for shipping back and thought I’d write a review while I still had them here to refer to. I tried them on again and felt sad because they were so cute and yet so uncomfortable. Inspecting them more closely, I realized there was a stiff cardboard insert in each one that seemed attached to the shoe. That seemed really weird, so I dug around until I cold get it out. It was so tightly inserted and closely aligned to the shoe that it actually seemed like it was glued to the shoe, but once I exerted a lot of effort, I got it out and there was no glue at all. I tried on the shoes again, and now they fit! Still a little stiffer and a tad tighter than I would prefer, but so much better that I am keeping them.
Other details:
The bottom sole is nice and grippy and fairly flexible
The faux leather upper looks a little too shiny and uniform to mimic real leather, but there was definitely some effort made to make it look pretty good ... just not as good as you might want
The little zipper is nice - though I can get the shoes off without using it
The memory foam insole is not as cushy as I expected, though it is okay
The shoes came well-protected with tissue wrapped around the buckles, foam inserts to prevent them getting flattened, the previously mentioned cardboard inserts, all wrapped in tissue in a standard shoe box

I have not done more than walk around the house in them so far - so if anything changes when I wear them out and about, I will come back and edit.

These are really cute and comfortable and fit nicely. They're more like heeled loafers than boots. My one complaint is that the heels have worn down quickly, as you can see in the picture. For the price I would not have expected that.

I got these to wear in the barn, but they’re really too cute for barn boots! The only thing you need to be aware of is how narrow they are. I even bought a Wide just to be on the safe side since I will wear them with thick socks part of the year. But even the Wide seems narrow, slightly narrower than a Regular.
