5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Beautiful!
By B. G. on February 1, 2020
I have been using one deck for the last 15 years which I still love but when I saw this one and thought I would try it and I am so glad I did! This is a simply a gorgeous deck, cards are a wonderful quality with thick card stock and the theme is very modern with a retro feel due to the amazing artwork. I especially love the way the artist rendered the Empress, Strength and Death cards. Highly recommend and would buy again.

2.0 out of 5 stars Amazing artwork, terrible quality control issues
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 9, 2019
I'd been looking forward to the commercial release of this deck. The artwork is absolutely beautiful, it's great to see a very different but still recognisable take on the tarot. Sadly, the artist has been let down by her publishers. The card quality is appalling. It looks like the fronts of the deck are smaller than the backs so the edges have curled. The edges are very rough, the cards look like one half of the deck has been cut on one machine and one on another, so they are different sizes. And there are creases in the cards! I've been in touch with the publisher who said another run is expected in Feb 2020, so my advice is, wait for that!

3.0 out of 5 stars Thin cardstock, lovely images
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 4, 2019
The deck images and guidebook are gorgeous, the artist did an amazing job. The -2 points are for the cardstock. The box itself is good quality but the cards are so thin! They are more like thick paper than card. Hay House really need to look at their print quality, it is a real disservice to this deck to not use decent cardstock. I can't riffle shuffle these as they bend way too much.

They are also slightly irregularly cut. This concerns me as poorly made goods tend to be from factories where workers are poorly treated.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 5, 2019
I know some people have had quality control problems with this deck but mine arrived in perfect condition. They're beautiful and vivid. I've only been learning tarot for about a year so I'm still having to look things up a lot but the art work on these has already made some things click in a new way and all I've done is go through to check all 78 cards are present! I'm really happy with these and I can't wait to start using them.

3.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful but quality control issues
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 9, 2019
I bought this deck in the full knowledge that there are quality control issues. And it wasn't a joke, part way through the deck the height of the cards are increased slightly. Difficult to shuffle, especially for someone like me with small hands. The card stock is thin therefore with every shuffle I'm bending some of the cards.

If Hay House re-release another edition of this deck with the issues sorted, I'd probably buy it again. Sadly, I really wanted this deck but Hay House have let people down with the quality, which is unusual as I have a lot of their other oracle decks. This quality problem is even a thing on Amazon US so this quality control problem isn't a one off.

The images on the cards are beautiful, diverse, bright and so different from the traditional tarot in some aspects. With a slightly matt finish on the cards. I do like the deck. The guide book, is informative for those new to tarot or who wish to learn the authors unique meaning to each card. I like that even the minor cards have 2 pages to themselves in the book.

Overall great deck, bad quality.
