A great read!

Great story! I have also had the good fortune to read the first draft of this as it was released in episodes online and really enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to re-reading this version as I know there has been a lot of re-writing and editing so I can't wait to see the differences! For anyone who likes something a little off beat and spooky, this is for you. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Best first novel I've read in a long time.

I read this in its first incarnation online for free, and when I found out Joe had re-written large portions of it, had it professionally edited, and then planned on releasing it in Kindle and print, I jumped for joy.
The Loser's Streak is WONDERFUL. It's almost indescribable. Part thriller, part conspiracy tale, part 'down on his luck' story, and also part horror/sci-fi it is a quick read, that is filled with twists and turns.
Jack McCoy is a gambler that decides to join a goverment funded drug test to make enough money back to pay his bookie. Of course once he starts taking the drugs... it all goes off the rails and he has to watch, isolated with others in the trial as they lose their minds. Not long after, he starts to lose his own.
Or does he? Some of the people in the trial don't go insane. Others... Open up.
It's crazy good. Read it. Review it. Help an indie author.

I read this while it was being posted in small installments online. It's a thrilling story with many twists and turns that always left me longing for the next installment to find out what happens to our poor "hero".
Joe has added a lot more content to this version and made some revisions as well. I am very much looking forward to reading the book in it's whole now that it has been released.
Joe is a very good indy author who has made a grand appearance on the scene and is destined to become great with this story.
Remember, this is only the beginning, Alice. There is much more to come and I can't wait to see how deep the Formula 35C rabbit hole goes.

Great read!

This is a great start to what I bet's going to be an awesome series! Really enjoyed this book, the characters (especially Jack) are described in detail and you can truly picture every scene throughout this fast-paced novel.
I noticed some reviewers mentioned the swearing so do be warned if you're sensitive to that (I think it was important for the characters). Overall, this was a great read if you like humor and characters that come to life as you read. Joe did a great job and I will be back for more!

Poorly written

Painful to read due to pitiful grammar, needs a major proofreading and editing. Storyline might be ok if you can bear to read it.
