Kimberly is the author of the award-winning THE BODY FINDER series, THE PLEDGE trilogy, and THE TAKING trilogy. She's also co-written the new picture book series, CECE LOVES SCIENCE! Her books have been translated into 15 languages, and both THE BODY FINDER and THE PLEDGE were YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults selections.

She lives in the Pacific Northwest, which give her endless rainy days to spend indoors writing. She also spends entirely too much time ordering stuff off the Internet and binge-watching Netflix with her husband and kids.

Part author - illustrator - filmmaker, Vashti Harrison is an artist originally from Onley, Virginia. She has a background in filmmaking and a love for storytelling. She earned her BA from the University of Virginia as a double major in Media Studies and Studio Art with concentrations in Film and Cinematography. She then went on to receive her MFA in Film and Video from CalArts where she snuck into Animation classes to learn from Disney and Dreamworks legends. There she rekindled a love for drawing and painting. Now, utilizing both skillsets, she is passionate about crafting beautiful stories for children and young adults in the film and kidlit worlds.

Shelli R. Johannes is coauthor of nine books in the CECE LOVES SCIENCE PB series including nine books, the THEO THESAURUS series, SHINE LIKE A UNICORN, and PENNY (An Engineering Tale of the Fourth Pig).

Her newest chapter book is FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE, part of Chelsea Clinton's "She Persisted" series.

She is also the critically-acclaimed author of five teen novels (pen name SR Johannes) including the NATURE OF GRACE series (Untraceable, Uncontrollable, Unstoppable), REWIRED, & ON THE BRIGHT SIDE.

Shelli can often be found on highways and country roads saving strays and other jaywalking critters, or volunteering with animal conservation groups like the Atlanta Zoo, the Dolphin Project, and Bosley’s puppy orphanage. After earning a master’s in marketing and working as an executive in Corporate America, Shelli traded out her heels and suits for flip-flops and jeans so she could follow her passion for writing.
