I've no doubt this is an excellent product for typical PC board trace repair or other ordinary connections in high impedance circuits. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me when I tried to repair an open connection on a heated stylus writing arm for an old thermal printer. The stylus should have had about 1.5 to 2 ohms resistance to get hot enough to work on the thermal paper but it ended up with about 9 ohms after I glued the open joint back together. That was enough to kill the project. Not the glue's fault, certainly, just not right for my application. The only issue beyond that was I typically could not work with the mixed glue past the 10 minute mark so, unless I got an old batch, I would recommend you work fast and ignore the stated 20 minute working time.
Dispensed enough out of each tube to coat the underside of the connector, mixed thoroughly, used a spring-loaded clamp with a microfiber cloth to prevent scratching the glass. As it was barely into the mid-60s in the daytime, I used a heat gun on low to keep the connection temperature up for the first 5 minutes or so, and then let it out in the sun for the rest of the day.
Works well as a conductive filler and bonding agent for my sensor product. Solved three design issues; filler to smooth a rough edge, bonds two parts and electrically conductive. Paste consistency. Wear gloves. It’s very messy but cleans up with IPA before cure.
