Nothing says outdoors like hearing the wonderful sound of birds chirping, which is sure to brighten anyone's day! At the top of each hour you're greeted with the beautiful sound of birds chirping to their happiest tunes. It makes a wonderful gift for any nature lover in your life.


Step 1 Turn the hand set knob in rear, clockwise so that it reads 10 minutes before 1:00 o'clock (12:50).	Step 2 Insert (3) AA batteries (not included). into the battery compartments. Make sure that the battery polarity (+/-) is as indicated.	Step 3 Turn the knob to adjust to your current time.

Bird Calls Every Hour

This clock features images and high end authentic bird recordings of 12 American song birds. Hear the distinct call of a different game bird every hour. Clock is made of acrylic with a green finish.

Light sensor deactivates the songs when the room is dark to avoid nighttime disturbances.

Includes information regarding bird habitat, feeding and migration information on back of the packaging.

Simple to Display on Any Wall

Display on the wall in the living room, bedroom or even the kitchen, it is a great addition to any room in your home.

Well, you can't miss it when it's Loon-o-clock! My wife loves it, my mother in law lovers it, me.. its a bit much hearing the various calls every hour. It's supposed to go quiet in the dark so it doesn't wake up the house, We've resorted to covering the LED clocks on the microwave and stove because they're really bright and keep the clock awake at night. My wife is happy with it, I just tolerate it.

The clock is attractive and easy to set up. I had no trouble getting the bird calls to match the proper hour. The calls are clearly recorded and play at just the right volume. There is also a light sensor that silences the calls when the lights are off. I'm very happy with the clock.

Was really hoping the the bird sounds were consistent to the same hours according to what is pictured. Like the obvious Eagle at 12 o clock and it's sound. But the sounds don't stay in order after trying to set them with the cycle button on the back. I had a different clock a few years ago that stayed accurate but this one is nothing like it. It would have been nice to know what the hour was by the sound, but the 6 o clock loon sounding like a blue jay or owl sure ruined that hope.

I had purchased one about two years ago and it had super loud ticking and it slowly kept losing time. The light sensor worked perfectly and the birds were incredibly accurate in their calls. The second one that I purchased just a bit ago does NOT have super loud ticking (which is great, b/c honestly that ticking was driving me nuts), and so far seems to be keeping time to the second. HOWEVER, the light sensor on THIS one does NOT work, so all of the calls are super loud as if the sun was beaming down on the clock at all times. I suppose this is better than not being able to hear it at all, but I don't understand how a "simple" clock can have so many inconsistencies just b/w two clocks!!!

I bought this because my grandma had a bird clock and I was missing her.
Clock is a decent quality, works well, and has no issues with keeping time. The numbers and dots are slightly hard to see but once you get used to which bird is where, you dont need them.
The sounds are loud enough to hear but not ear splitting... however, the sounds they make are not all quite right. Some dont sound like birds at all and a few birds(such as the loon) I feel have sounds other than their iconic ones. Also, the light sensor that supposedly turns the volume down doesnt seem to work very well as I will still have nights where the full volume is on.
(This is not a big deal though as the sounds are not annoying or overly loud. They dont wake me up or anything.)

Seriously though.... why does the owl sound like a horse? It has now become a family joke that its horse-o-clock.
