We believe kids get better at math with practice, resulting in confidence and positive attitude towards math that is required to excel in school.
This workbook provides kids with additional math practice that reinforces and complements what is taught at school. There are no pictures or word problems, and focus on mastery of basic addition and subtraction.
This workbook combines traditional addition and subtraction math problems, with number bond problems. Many elementary schools teach math using Number Bonds, and we want kids to have practice on both traditional math questions and number bonds to build fluency and speed in basic arithmetic.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Pretty decent Grade 1 math book.It threw our Grade 1 off a bit as he math was vertical and not horizontal like they are being taught in school. We used it as a teaching moment and it was a quick adjustment. All the pages are similar with number bonds (new to me) and then a page of accompanying math. Not much variety but it drives the point home well.Book is of decent quality, pages are a decent thickness. Very repetitive but not bad if you do a few pages of this and a few pages of something else.

My kid loves math and I wanted a book to show him different ways to do math. I only had go show him how go fo the new styles once and he would run off with the book to do it himself. He was so proud of himself when he finished the book

My daughter asked for a math book for Christmas, just was oddly excited, we were happy with it!

Great learning book for 5 year old, or any age! It lasts a long time, Santa brought like 7 different types of these so we get a lot of use out of them! I’d definitely recommend! Things can be explained a bit easier for a child to understand, I’m not a teacher that’s why I don’t work as one and didn’t go to school to become one so perhaps make the instructions easier to comprehend to explain it so we’re not using our own words, kids learn easier when it’s explained properly the first time, no confusion happens then! All in all, it’s a really great learning activity book! Thank You!

But it's good for constant practicing to get kids more familiar.

My daughter has been struggling with grade one math due to the pandemic unfortunately. But this book is easy for her to understand and it has improved her skills.
