What is the difference between the original Moroccanoil Treatment and Moroccanoil Treatment Light formulas?
Moroccanoil Treatment Light was created for consumers with fine and light-colored (including white or gray) hair. Moroccanoil Treatment Light delivers the same benefits as Moroccanoil Treatment but is lighter in formulation, texture and color.
Can Moroccanoil Treatment be used with other Moroccanoil products?
Yes. Moroccanoil Treatment can be used in conjunction with all other Moroccanoil products, as it is the foundation for styling.
What is the difference between Moroccanoil Treatment and Moroccanoil Pure Argan Oil?
Moroccanoil Treatment contains both argan oil and other ingredients to create a non-greasy formula that leaves hair smooth and conditioned. Moroccanoil Pure Argan Oil contains only argan oil and has nourishing benefits for both hair and skin.
Rich in antioxidants, vitamins and essential fatty acids, this rare and precious oil has been used for centuries to nourish hair and skin.

Tiny little thing but I have severely dry damaged hair (was told not to do any chemical services…. Ended up bleaching it ◡̈ ) So I cut approx 5 inches off all over and now I have a long pixie cut. In reality I’m gonna shave it, it’s too damaged too close to the scalp. BUT for the time being, I tried this and I doooo like it.
I have somewhat normal hair (not too fine, not too coarse.) but what made me pick the “light” version is I have hair loss problems. Annnd a lot of products weigh my hair too much and just don’t really absorb either. It just makes my hair feel dirty and thickened. Some of my hair is fine, some is weirdly coarse, some is wiry (this is before bleaching it too.) I use minoxidil & ever since I started, I’ve had issues with my hair turning in texture.
Anyway! For me I’d say I like it. BUT that’s only after using it ONE time. I’m gonna keep using it ◡̈ I’ve tried different variations of: jojoba, castor, Rosemary, all sorts of seeds, just literally anything I could find. I personally don’t feel like any other oil feels like this one (on the hair.) I don’t like putting other ones in my hair because they just don’t feeeeel like they do anything at all. I’m gonna shave my head this weekend, so I’ll only have little hairs to use it on but I’m gonna more than likely repurchase ◡̈
I tried a lot of different hair oils as I love to try different products but the full size of this oil is always in my shelf and a small size in my bag.
It leaves my hair ends very smooth and it actually acts a treatment to my hair.
My hair is very healthy now but when it was over processed with keratin smoothing treatment and blond coloration this moroccanoil has helped to save my hair and bring it hack to life.
I can't recommend enough.
If it blow dry it then it does feel like it leaves a little residue but that is probably only an issue for my hair type which can't take product at all really. If left to air dry then you'd never know I'd put oil on.
Really impressed & highly recommended for anyone with long, poker straight hair - just use no more than a 5p, start with even less & smear over your entire palm.
Love it & so do the old-arse ends of my hair.
