How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

After looking around at other similar devices, this gave us 2 for less then the price of a single one with other brands and the reviews were very good for it as well. We wanted a pair of these to make communicating between the driver and passenger much easier, it sort of does the job on that. There is no real explanation that comes with it, so if common sense of these devices isnt working for you, follow others advise and look up a YouTube video on it. It pairs with a phone no problem and plays music, still trying to get use to how to decline a phone call when driving and not answer it. It cuts off the intercom or music for phone calls. When you have it linked as an intercom, you don't get your music from your phone... it's one or the other sadly. The sound and mic work beautifully, even more so if you have space between you and the other person using it... hence it sorta works ok for what we were wanting to use it for and it's better then not having it at all. Installing it into the helmets were simple and didnt take instructions to put in, only common sense. I found with out full helmets, the metal piece that came with is was better then the plastic clip. Not sure how someone would use with with a helmet that doesn't have ear covers as it needs to be adhered to the ear location of the helmet with velcro sticker to the velcro on the back of the earpiece. Battery life seems to be great, can go days of use without needing a charge. Overall I would still recommend them for those looking for a budget friendly intercom system while on a bike.

I bought this unit to use for when riding with a group of similarly equipped riders but mostly to pair to my cell phone to be able to answer calls and listen to my music on the go.
I have not tested it on its rider-to-rider communication performance so I will not comment on that.
As far as being able to take and make calls, it does work, but not without issues.
Taking calls is as simple as indicated on the user guide (look at youtube for videos on how to use this unit), that is, it will automatically answer the call by the 4th ring. Making phone calls is not quite so simple or easy to do and I haven't been able to locate anything online to indicate how this could work but If you have Android auto and Google Assistant (voice control) you can use it to say "Hey Google, dial/call So-and-so" and it will dial the contact for you. However, and I won't go as far as say its a problem with this unit, it didn't always work. Actually, it hardly ever worked in that it seemed to dial the contacts but either I couldn't hear them or they couldn't hear me. I suspect the two are incompatible, for now at least.
I'm hoping that either Android or Vnet will release an update that will make it work in the near future.
My next complaint about this unit is the tiny buttons used to control pairing, volume and calls. Good luck figuring out which button you're pushing when you're wearing gloves. The up and down volume controls are also "upside down"... One pushes the Upper button to decrease the volume and pushes the lower button to increase it... very counter intuitive (how engineering or quality control let this one slip by is beyond me but not surprising considered where it was developed/built).
The helmet speakers will mount nicely behind the lining material around the ear cavities of most helmets, using some Velcro adhesive pads. The microphone which comes attached to one of the speakers has an easy to handle flexible shaft but I find the foam on the microphone itself a bit too big for full face helmets. It's probably intended for open face helmets and the foam helps cut back on the wind noise but most full face helmets don't have that much space on the front. If you have a full face helmet like I do you're probably better off taking the foam bulb off the microphone.
My main disappointment, however, is the sound quality from the headphone speakers. A few other reviewers also complained about this and I'll will add my name to that list. The sound lacks both bass and mids, the highs are the only sounds that stand out. The headphones are alright for voice communication but very low quality for for music listening. Cranking up the volume so the music can be heard better when wind noise is present also leads to noticeable clipping from the amplifier. I have experimented with other earbuds that also use a 3.5 mm jack, like the ones used by this unit. The volume gets appreciably louder with earbuds which tells me the speakers provided with this unit are just of inferior quality. Also, I noticed that when I pushed the Answer-Pause button on the microphone piece of the earbud speakers I used for comparison testing, the bass and mids response improved. It sounded better (but still below what I would deem to be "acceptable") if I kept this button depressed. This has probably something to do with how the multi function jack is wired since it is used for both mic/headphones and for charging. This is one of those cost-saving measures (to save on a separate connector for charging) that can be engineered into a product like this but it's not done without some compromises. In this case, unfortunately, the sound quality was the compromise. Having said that, take the time to adjust the speakers correctly in the helmet. After reading some other reviews and doing so myself, I noticed a marked improvement on the volume levels, making the whole package not so bad after all.
Summarizing, one gets what one pays for. These are inexpensive, well featured Bluetooth communicators that seem work as advertised. If you're just getting started, on a budget and you don't care much about their sound quality then these aren't a bad deal. However, if like me you care about sound quality, these will fall short of your expectations. Take your time looking through the reviews of other units. For a better experience, the more renowned ones will likely measure up to expectations much better than this one does..

Good device. Sound quality is ok. No issues receiving phone calls. Well worth the money.

I had these devices now for a few days and had tried both. First, as a Bluetooth device to listen to music and take some calls from my iPhone and Samson phones. Second, to communicate back and forth to my passenger and fellow bikers.
Here’s my review. First of all it came a day late, not a big deal. The packaging was great, nothing damage and all pieces were there. Extra Velcro stickers did come in handy. Thanks.
Next, just like the other reviews the manual was a little hard to understand due to broken English. But YouTube videos helped a lot when setting it up and getting some basic understanding of how they operated.
Attaching the speakers and mic to my helmets was very easy and the Velcro ear pieces made it much easier.
Attaching the communicators was easy and the addition of the metal clip made it more secure. Good job on that!
The quality of the sound, on the one set that both speakers works, was ok. The speakers needed to be placed exactly by your ears to get the best sound, if not it seems like the sound is far away.
This is an easy fix thanks to the Velcro and extra stickers.
Unfortunately I did get a speaker set that only one speaker is working. I checked the plug and traced the wires and found no defects. I think it is a weak or bad speaker. I’ll get back to that.
The sound through the mic was excellent. Very clear. Even travelling at 100 kph on highway I could talk and the other person has no issues hearing me, there was very little background noise.
This is great communication devices, both as a Bluetooth to your phone and/or paired with other devices. We did have four other devices paired together. Friends of mine has the same devices. I do recommend the to anyone wanting a communication/Bluetooth device and for the price, the vnetphone is a good purchase.
Now for the bad or the not so good.
One of the head sets has a broken speaker. It sounds very very low and hard to hear, even on max volume. I will probably be looking for a new headset.
Buttons are small and hard to find with gloves, but may come easier as I get use the them.
The power off button is close to the other buttons and gets pressed sometimes accidentally.
The volume buttons are backwards, the top is volume down and the lower button is volume up. This was a little confusing at first, but I can get use to it.
The head set plug is located at the bottom of the communicator, this was a bit of a pain because one of my motorcycle jackets has a high collar and the plug gets hooked in the collar of the jacket.
In summary, vnetphone v6, so far is ok, other than the one faulty speaker. I am impressed with the device to device communication distance. Range averaged around 800 to 1000 meters and at times we got almost 2 Kms.
The sound quality was good, and loud enough.
Pairing with other vnetphone devices was easy, but my device didn’t pair with another different Brand name communicator.
