Lucas only discovers he’s slept with the infamous Carmen Kelly - that is, his own magazine’s sex columnist! - when he reads her printed takedown. Humiliated and furious, he pens a rebuttal and signs it, "Nice Guy". Empire publishes it, and the pair of columns go viral. Readers demand more. So the magazine makes an arrangement: Each week, Carmen and Lucas will sleep together....and write dueling accounts of their sexual exploits.

It’s the most provocative sexual relationship any couple has had, but the columnist-lovers are soon engaging in more than a war of words: They become seduced by the city’s rich and powerful, tempted by fame, and more attracted to each other than they’re willing to admit. In the end, they will have to choose between ambition, love, and the consequences of total honesty.

DNF... I was so bored. I could not get into it. It was all over the place. Didn't like the male main character.

I have been looking forward to this book and am now on "Part 3" (the last section) and don't want to read it all because I don't want it to end. This is definitely a romantic/comedic book but has much better writing than normal paperbacks in this category. I actually had to look up a couple words which doesn't really happen in books that Cosmopolitan ranks highly. Ha!

I wonder which parts Jason wrote and which Jennifer wrote and how they partnered on it. Very intriguing to have a couple write this type of book. Also makes me wonder how they came up with the idea...

I would happily recommend this to my friends (mostly gals, probably though men could learn a thing or two from it) and think it would make a great RomCom movie. Any Hollywood interest yet? I wouldn't be surprised.

I bought Mr. Nice Guy purely out of curiosity- I've been reading Entrepreneur Magazine for 20 years, over half my life, and have really enjoyed Jason at the helm the last few years...how would that translate to this genre??

First, my wife snagged the book and loved it. Then, my sister in law...Once my turn, I found myself getting roped in similar to being in the same room as my wife's sex and the city binge... Its not on my radar of interests, but once engaged, I couldn't put it down! Witty and well written, this book is a page turner.
