Good value fenders! Easy to install, took about 10 minutes per wheel. They matched the look and colour of my new E-bike!
Plastic fenders, easy to flex into the shape I needed to fit my E-bike.
Not sure how much protection they will give, but they cover the entire width of the tire and then some (2.25” tires). However, take note that they are not very long, therefore they do not cover much of the circumference of the 29” tires.
Do yourself a favour and use your own tie-wraps. The ones supplied seem ok, but based on numerous negative reviews, I just opted to use my own heavy duty tie wraps.
Also, as a couple of reviewers noted, these are really meant for Disk brake bikes, not the old squeeze the rim type brakes, pretty convinced you will not be able to install these without hindering those types of brakes. So be aware!
Overall, they seem solid, easy to install, light weight (a few ounces), plenty of pre-drilled holes to accommodate most bikes including E-Bikes. Good value and I would recommend these for a similar installation as mine. But as I stated, I have not tested their efficacy yet (have not run them through rain, mud or snow yet)...
