To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I heard about this book from a friend and I bought it and read it out of general interest and as a retired pediatrician. During my years of caring for families and children, I met with many divorced parents and their children. I found this to be a delightful and informative book. I wish this book had been available earlier but I plan to recommend it to colleagues, counselors and lawyers who deal with dual family situations.
The graphics were lovely and the message powerful. This book should be a staple in the home of every couple going through a divorce with children. Tamar, thanks for writing that can be used time and again to reinforce the message.
This book speaks incredibly well to young kids. Any family facing difficult situations and needing help explaining tricky topics can really benefit from reading this book to their kids. Frames things perfectly for the little ones.
What a wonderful tool to use to help your children understand what is happening to their family during a possibly traumatic time. It does a great job of reflecting the anxiety children might feel during their parents breakup. I recommend it.
