From my personal experience, the view was slightly out of focus. The screen was only in focus with the Switch a bit further from the lens, but unfortunately you cannot adjust the distance of the Switch or the lens and it requires that you strap the switch snug or risk it falling out.
The headset is light because of the foam material and the strap is adjustable. I wouldn’t say this is a high quality headset but it is a lot better than the Nintendo Switch licenced cardboard VR headset.
The following issues is not the fault of this product:
Not many supported VR application for the Switch or on the YouTube app. Only such titles as Super Smash Bros. Zelda BOTW & Super Mario Odyssey has in game options for VR.
The Switch home menu is not even VR supported, therefore you would have to navigate to the VR supported game handheld before you put the Switch in the VR headset to play with.
This product could be improved with some sort of lens adjustment. Otherwise it may be out of focus for you. On top of the not many VR support on the Switch, I don’t recommend not just this product but any VR product for the Switch.
Games such as Smash Bro’s are you really gonna use VR for long term instead a 55” TV. Even then you wouldn’t bring your VR headset in public as it adds bulks beside looking funny (maybe in another 50 years).
