I was not expecting much, "vegan" jerky, what the heck is that?

Well, it was in the top 3 jerky bags I have ever eaten. They go everything right. Texture, moistness (but no to moist), toughness (but not to tough) and the flavor is extreme (in the good way). These taste, feel, smell, look like regular meat jerky. Liked the couple bags I ordered so much that I came back and ordered a 3 pack of the main flavors they offered on Amazon. This is a beautiful product that met and exceeded my needs. I can recommend you try at least one bag.

I thought that I would give these a try, as I like jerky, but realize that it is not very healthy. I thought being plant based might make for a healthy and tasty snack, but I was so wrong. These taste like dried bean paste, that is cut into squares and covered in a variety of sauces and it's a big bad flop. It does not even come close to jerky, I swear my kids could do better, please do not waste your money!

I have purchased this brand so many times and had to resort to purchasing on Amazon because I couldn't find it anywhere I usually purchase it from because of Covid or the places that sell it are ridiculously overpriced than what I know they should be. Although I did pay a bit more for it as a 3-pack, I still saved money.
So delicious and to be honest, I had not tasted the Hickory flavour before and it's my new favourite! Purchasing more now so I don't have to ration the remaining two packs :P

Being vegan sometimes I miss eating beef jerky, but these are SO good that when I have friends try it they always think it's actually beef it tastes so similar. They are a great snack and don't make me miss meat at all. Highly recommended as they are much cheaper here than at Marshall's (the only other place I've seen them in store).

WOW. I cannot say enough about this jerky. Sweet bbq is a perfect mix of sticky sweet and nice bbq flavor, the jerky texture is EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT! Honestly I’m obsessed with these and cannot recommend them enough.

I shared these with my meat eater friends and they loved them so much they declared they will “never eat regular jerky again” .
We can get them at winners here but this is the best deal I’ve found anywhere.

OMG. This jerky is amazing! The other flavours I tried (Teriyaki and original were edible, but a little funny tasting to me with too much seasong), but the BBQ is delicous. Some spice to them, but not overhwelming, coming from someone who is fairly sensitive to spice. Other reviewers mentioned them being sticky, but I am able to snack on them while at my computer without feeling like I need to wash my hands in between. If you like BBQ sauce you will like these jerky treats. A little pricey, but understandable for a vegan product. Keep in mind that regular jerky is also expensive. These could pass for real beef.

I figured I would give these a try, as I like jerky, but wanted something a bit healthier. Not this stuff, it tastes like bland bean paste covered in a horrible sauce that tries unsuccessfully to taste like jerky.
Save your money, maybe buy the real stuff, and eat less of it, rather than a terrible substitute that does not even come close.

I bought the BBQ flavor because some of the reviews described it as “spicy”, which sounded great. These must be the same type of people that think bell peppers are spicy. The BBQ flavor is not spicy. Not at all. It is a TINY bit peppery, from black pepper, I assume. It is completely my fault for letting a few reviewers convince me that “sweet BBQ” would be spicy.
Here’s what the BBQ flavor DOES taste like, however: BBQ baked beans, but in a good way. Sweet and Smokey.
Also, The texture is spot on! And like one reviewer said, sticky. I like it.

Okay, so let me start out by saying the overuse of the word "addicted" irritates me. But I can't seem to shake the urge to constantly eat this stuff. I think about it on the way home. Get up in the middle of the night and bumble around the cabinet. I just can't get enough. Mind you, I've been a vegetarian for 25 years and maybe I don't remember what actual jerkey is like, but this does it for me. Even my meat and potatoes eating dad and husband tried it and said it was "actually not bad". (Huge compliment. Huge.) I have tried a few other brands but this one, to me, is the best of the best. I like the hickory. I like the teriyaki. I like the bbq. It's a little sticky and sweet but it's great. I don't get all the negative reviews but then again, everyone has different tastebuds and expectations. This is a vegan jerky, after all. I really would hate to see how much I spend on this a month but it is worth it. It's the only thing I ever get myself and I like it, dang it! And now I want some, so here I go again!!!

I don’t really like writing reviews for food because everyone’s opinion is different but I’m bored so here I am. The texture is pretty spot-on, much like real beef jerky. This one is more dry than their sweet BBQ flavor (which is like..wet?) I personally do not like the chipotle flavor much but that’s just me. It tastes just like bean chilli so if you like chilli this is for you! The main ingredient is soy so the bean flavor shouldn’t be surprising but this is like... the jerky equivalent to a spoonful of beans from a pot of chilli. I’ll stick to the sweet BBQ flavor from now on (the BBQ one slaps btw you should try it)
Overall this is not terrible, just not for me. I am gonna point out that price-wise this is a killer deal, idk if y’all noticed but vegan jerky is crazy expensive so 3 bags for $14 is a steal

I have been a vegetarian for decades and have tried numerous fake jerkys, but so far this one really takes the cake.

The Hickory Smoke flavour is so yummy that I gobbled up three packages in two days. This is going to be a very costly "habit," so I better discipline thyself because these snacks are really irresistible.

The Teriyaki flavour is good too, I just prefer the Hickory Smoke thus far. Going to sample some of the other flavours too real soon!

It’s savory with a flirtation of sweet. The only problem I had was inhaling the bag instead of saving some for later.
