Il film non ha bisogno di particolari commenti perché quasi tutti lo conoscono e lo hanno sentito almeno una volta, inoltre ci sono blog appositi per la recensioni. Quindi sul film in sé mi limito soltanto a dire che si tratta di una commedia senza tempo, sicuramente una delle più celebri a cavallo tra la fine degli anni '90 e l'inizio del nuovo millennio. Divertente, per passare una serata in relax, volendo è utile anche per vedere un film in inglese considerando che i dialoghi sono tutto sommato semplici e non troppo veloci. Ottime le interprestazioni di Hugh Grant e Julia Roberts.

Per quanto riguarda il Blu-Ray devo dire che è perfetto. La qualità delle immagini è molto buona a mio parere e se trovate questo disco ad un prezzo conveniente, allora vale la pena di acquistarlo.

Nel Blu-Ray, oltre al film, ci sono anche alcuni contenuti speciali: circa 12 minuti di scene tagliate, il dietro le quinte, consigli di Hugh Grant per il film, due video musicali per colonne sonore ("She" di Elvis Costello e "You've got a way" di Shania Twain), passeggiare per Portobello Road.

L'audio è disponibile in inglese nel formato DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 e in italiano, francese, tedesco e spagnolo nel formato DTS-HD 5.1.

I sottotitoli sono disponibili in inglese, italiano, francese, tedesco, spagnolo, portoghese, giapponese, cinese, coreano, greco, danese, olandese, finlandese, norvegese, svedese e islandese.
