From the moment I received the package, I spent hours meticulously installing the dash camera and carefully running all the wires. It was a time-consuming process, but I believed it would be worth it. However, my efforts were in vain as I realized that one of the crucial components—the USB cable—was defective.
Attempting to charge the camera using the faulty USB cable proved futile. Despite connecting it to various power sources, including my car charger and computer, the camera simply would not charge. I even went as far as troubleshooting and testing different power settings, but the issue persisted.
Feeling frustrated and disappointed,
As a consumer, I had high expectations for the quality and reliability of the product I purchased. Unfortunately, this experience has left me deeply dissatisfied. The defective USB cable not only compromised the functionality of the dash camera but also wasted hours of my time and effort.
In writing this review, I hope to draw attention to the lack of quality control It is disheartening to invest in a product that fails to meet even the most basic standards of functionality and support. I urge the company to improve its quality control processes and prioritize the satisfaction of its customers.
To prospective buyers considering a dash camera, I strongly advise exercising caution when dealing with this particular brand. While I cannot speak for their other products, my experience with the defective USB cable leaves me with little confidence in their ability to deliver a reliable and satisfactory product.
I sincerely hope that my review serves as a wake-up call to the company and encourages them to address the issues at hand. As consumers, we deserve products that meet our expectations and customer support that values our satisfaction.

Would recommend this product any day.

I initially used the suction cup on the front windshield, since some comments here stated that it may fall, so I wrapped the power cable around my rear-view mirror in case the suction cup does fall, the camera will not drop to the floor. Unfortunately during my test drive for an hour, it did fall off couple of times. So I changed to the adhesive mount instead. For the rear camera, the little adhesive pad just does not do its job, so I used the screws to fix it to the ceiling panel. I have an 8-seat 3-row SUV, the extension cable that's included in the package is long enough to cover the whole length from front to the back and still has some slack. Maybe your car is longer or you need to run the cable to the bottom license plate area, then you may need to order a longer cable extension.
Powered it on and drove out for a test drive. I did not even need to format the 32 GB Class 10 SD-card and it started recording. The on-camera display can be toggled between front, rear and both on a split screen with different sizes. After a while I noticed the camera became really hot to the touch, so I turned on the screen saver mode (while still recording), this cools down the unit a bit, and let me focus on the road. Later when I got home I took the SD card out and inserted it to my PC card reader to view the videos (you can also take the entire front camera out and connect it with PC via the included USB cable). The front images are clear, the rear ones a bit blurry, but still OK as long as you don't try too hard to read their license plates.
One more thing I see people here complaining is that the rear cam video image is mirror-reversed. This maybe a good or bad factor depending on how you view it. Your rear-view mirror is also giving you the exactly same reversed image, so the camera shows the same on its display. If it does not, it may confuse you since your brain has been trained to the rear-view mirror reverse images. Of course when you play the video on your computer, you see a reversed image and feel it's strange.
Another issue is the 32 GB SD card is a bit small. I drove about 3 hours this Sunday and it's full. The front and back camera each writes a lot of large files to the storage, especially when you choose the highest resolution.
Pro: price, quality, ease of installation
Con: suction cup, 32 GB storage too small

This camera was selected because of Amazon ratings and the rear camera.
This is a brief review based on both the product and the experience of installation.
+points:
The camera is surprisingly well made considering the price - the camera is robust, with a quality feel.
The dashcam screen is visible even in bright light and good enough for checking mode and coverage.
The front camera image quality is very good - the rear is adequate (see below).
The reverse switch option, that makes the reverse camera full screeen, is neat, although the wiring in takes a while.
The rear camera wiring was more than adequate for a concealed fitting in small hatchback.
The kit included two suction mounts.
The company support is good - I sent two questions by email and got sensible replies in a short space of time (even more impressive considering Coronavirus is impacting its business).
-ve points:
The manual could be improved. It is obviously meant for several models and as consequence it offers little information on the rear camera operation and modes. I needed to read the answers to questions on Amazon to work out the rear camera operation.
Entering the settings is fiddly and I recommend best done indoors with the dashcam on a mains USB adapter. The manual contains the information (with a few spelling mistakes), but may need reading several times to join the dots on feature combinations.
The rear camera will only work when the dashcam is powered on the car cigar socket - you cannot test it using a mains USB adapter. This, combined with the poor manual, led to some frustration.
The screeen can be set to go blank after several minutes - the minimum is 3 minutes. This is still too long to comply with UK traffic law!! It would be better to include a 1 minute setting, but override the timeout whilst the reverse switch is activated.
The reverse camera has IR LEDs - these will be fine if you are fitting the camera on the outside of the car, but if installing inside the rear windscreen you may find they blind the view at night - I solved this with black paint over the LEDs. The rear camera should have a mechanical switch for the LEDs.
Neutral
Anyone claiming to have fitted this camera in under half an hour has either not installed the rear camera or skipped the reverse camera switching. Fitting in a modern hatch back required removing the rear tailgate light cluster to access the reverse light wiring and then running the lead back through to car to the dashcam. I mounted the rear camera more or less centrally on the rear parcel shelf using automotive double sided tape - as such it makes a good backup camera. Remember to keep the camera inside the rear windscreen wiper sweep or it may be quickly blinded in bad weather.
The camera needs a microSD card - I bought this after the camera to ensure compatiblity and had no issues, but remember to read the recommended specification.
I wanted a semi-permanent installation. The factory recommended finding an install kit on the internet, but I found a better (safer) recommendation; I added a second cigar socket prefitted with an ATC fuse splitter and plugged into the primary cigar socket fuse. If you do this remember to a) check you get a good earth on the return lead b) ensure you use a smaller fuse on the second (new holder) circuit c) make sure the supply crosses the fuse i.e. the power to the new socket should exit the fuse splitter on the opposite side to the +ve supply. Hiding the socket away under the dash makes for a really quick and safe install - using a second socket means the fuse inside the dashcam plug remains in place (this will be far smaller than the fuse in the splitter - the splitter fuse protects the circuit, but the dashcam plug fuse protects the dashcam!).

The cameras were easy to set up and are very much 'fix and forget'. Recordings can be 'locked' so they cannot be overwritten in the event of an incident occurring and if playback is required, the camera can be connected to a computer or, more easily the memory card removed. The camera has a shock sensor and the rear camera can be used as a reversing camera, although this requires external mounting and hard wiring to the reversing light. All in all a comprehensive well-made solution for a very reasonable price!
