I honestly have not read the book in its entirety. I love LitRPG and to an extent GameLit. This book barely qualifies as either. The MC was summoned to a game like world but once he's there.. there's almost no LitRPG aspects. It took me reading to 20% to find the first system message, and it was an achievement and 'a feeling that he had reached level one'... I'm sorry.. What? A feeling?
This book strikes me as yet another fantasy book that an author tried to make into LitRPG and failed miserably to the point where it's kinda GameLit. There are no stats, no system to speak of, nothing but a vague sense that the MC has levelled.
The most jarring issue I have is that I paid money pre-ordering this drivel based upon an /r/LitRPG post.
