I could not contain my excitement when I learned we were getting more of Jack n Jill series. Those books are forever in my ALL TIME favourite pile!!! I'm so excited to add this baby to the group. Jewel always and yes I mean always entertains me. She makes me laugh, makes me look at things differently, she literally brings emotions out of out of NOWHERE!!!!!

The beginning of this story just made me giggle. I adored younger Livy. Her antics, to me were Aunt Jess. It kinda felt like Jackson was fighting with Jess all over again. Livy was strong, feisty, someone you'd want to be friends with.
Then Livy grew up, and her indepence, strength, sense of humor and her ability to love made you love her character. ♥️

Slade ..... Where to begin with this man. He is your strong and silent type. A man of few words ...... but the few he speaks you need to listen to. Jewel always manages to give us just what we are looking for in a lead male. Plus Slade has a companion you cant help but love. 🐕

These two start with a jolt, on the wrong foot, irritating/intriguing each other. Jewel gives us some of her best banter with these two. Every couple has thier ups and downs.....these two have thier ins and outs too. Slade and Livy both have their secrets, thier lies and neither have any idea how entwined thier lives really are. Thier love is angsty oh so angsty, its romantic, its suspenseful, its everything you've cone to expect from Jewel.

The story will bring you back in time see a few of YOUR (MY) ALLTIME FAVOURITE CHARACTERS!!!! You will relive the Jack n Jill Series, but in a new light. A story that truly has come full circle.

It's the end for now, I hope 🤞 I can only pray there is more to these characters. There are a few series you never want to see end, and this is one of them. I believe there are so many more adventures waiting for them. Maybe if we are lucky Jewel will hear them talking.

I am blown away by this addition to a trilogy that I absolutely adore. I find this story only enhances the original JJ Series. Jewel is truly been blessed with the gift of telling a story.

This book had me laughing out loud so many times and swooning. The banter back and fourth between Slade and Livy killed me! Livy is so curious, sweet, and confident and so when she first sees the mysterious Slade at the back of class with his dog she immediately wants to know his story. To bad he speaks to no one and always leaves class before the bell. Livy makes it her mission to get to know Slade even if he wants absolutely nothing to do with her.

Slade was so mysterious, intriguing and sexy. I wanted to know so many things about him but Jewel E. Ann keeps you guessing until the very end. Slade is so controlled he never lets his emotions or feelings get in the way. All he needs is his dog Jericho and to be left alone. To bad Livy won’t leave him alone until she uncovers exactly who he is. This beautiful, blonde crazy women won’t quit and she’s definitely the worst kind of temptation that he knows he needs to avoid at all costs, talking to her and being with her is not part of the job.

This is yet another masterpiece by Jewel! This was swoon-worthy and kickass and sexy as hell! Livy, the daughter of Jackson and Ryn from the Jack and Jill series, carries her own in this rollercoaster ride of a story. Slade comes into her life and he is a gale force! This is a tale of love and lies and heartbreak and a monster ;) I couldn't one-click this baby fast enough and will read it over, I'm sure, many times.

Although this is a 'stand alone' I would highly recommend reading the Jack & Jill series first to understand Livy's dad Jackson and Aunt Jessica. And it's a very good series!!
This book was a little disappointing for me as I wanted to see more or how Jackson & Jessica were doing in the future and it didn't tell me much about Jessica and I didn't like what happened to Jackson.
He is an overprotective father trying to cope with his daughter growing up and experiencing life, love and sex! I love that Jessica tells Livy about her dad's past before he met Ryn, encourages Livy to enjoy herself and gives her ammunition to hold her own in arguments with Jackson.
Hot cover model! Wylder is mysterious & attractive and Livy wants to find out more... but is she prepared for what she finds??
The reader needs to be prepared for plot twists and turns!!
Some of the plot is a bit unbelievable like Jackson not realising sooner who Abe is and what he is doing.... and why is Wylder at College? And why do the professors allow Jericho into lectures? But overall another great read and I am very sad this series is over and would love more books - maybe about Jessica's children.

Could Jewel E Ann release a book like.. every month or so? I didn’t even bother to read the preview so that I would have a clue what this book is about, because duh.. it’s Jewel E Ann, no book of hers is short of amazing. Just saw a new book will be released soon, click preorder, and start reading it the moment it popped in my library, without even knowing it has any connection with the Jack and Jill series (my all time favorite series), so imagine my surprise when I figured the story continued with Jackson’s daughter. I wish this series would never end.
I loved the characters, I loved the story and I will always want more. Whoever read the ‘Jack and Jill’ series must read ‘Out of love’ like yesterday.. and if you didn’t read ‘Jack and Jill’ do it, and come back to read ‘Out of love’. Even though it could definitely be read as a standalone, the story just has so much more impact when you know where it all started.
This book has everything..mystery, love, sex, fun moments, sad moments, moments.. moments.. moments. I don’t want to go into details and spoil the story, because it deserves for you dive in head first.

This is a fabulous story on its own but if you've read the Jack Jill series you will appreciate it even more - although you may feel as I did because I was heavily invested in the characters from those books and it's find out what happened to some of those characters that 'broke' me.

This is a next generation book - very well written and, as usual with anything from this author, has plenty of twists and turns to tax the brain and pull on the emotions.

Ann's books before and even though there were other books that people mentioned you should read before about other characters stories, I was read it on its own. Seriously amazing!!
