Your adventure takes place in the expansive natural majesty of the Hisui region, where you are tasked with embarking on survey missions and studying Pokémon. After receiving an assignment or a request and preparing for your next excursion, you'll set out from Jubilife Village to study one of the various areas of the Hisui region.

The game is just OK honestly. Pokemon tried something new and I took a chance with it, especially after reading so many rave reviews about it from various sources. But all I can say about the game is it's just okay and nothing really special. If you enjoy pokemon games you'll probably at least like it, if your main reason to get this is for open world games I wouldn't suggest it (I enjoy both).

The graphics quality is really low, and there is some terrible pop-in with assets. Considering Breath of the Wild did this all very well it's not a limitation of the switch.

The plot is meh from what I've seen so far. Kinda lame that it's an isekai (person transported to a alternate / distant world). I'm really hoping the gameplay picks up but right now there isn't much to it and I am several hours in. I really wanted to love this game but right now it's just OK. Maybe a little mediocre after getting hyped up from the reviews.

I have played Pokémon games for so many years now and this game hooked me in like when I got my first pokemon game. At first I didn't want to play this game but I saw some trailers online and it got my interest.

I want to talk about the negatives first. This game in terms of graphics, it's has a look of a game from 15 years ago. There are some glitch in the game but hopefully gamefreak can fix it in the future.
For the positives, this game let's you play on your own pace. The music is good, the world feels more alive than the previous main pokémon games, and there are some improvements in gameplay.

Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a pokémon game for the first time and to those who have played the main games. It doesn't have online PvP but for me it's not very important. 4/5 stars. I would love to see a pokémon game like this in the future.

this game is really not finish , it's kind of totally empty. the feel about trained pokemon and good gestion in battle is totaly inexistent...
the story is lame. the level design is horrible and the quest are too...
the art is a shame... compare to all other title....
the controle is horrible too.
colision in the worl are messy...
alway have to pass by the village to go on one of the different area....ALWAY have to talk with the "professor" to "BANK" your pokemon....................................
(i wont talk about the sound design or even the boss fight...)
it's just GRINDING stuff to beef pokemon and make stuf like pokeball...

all you need to do is juste have a powerfull pokemon and you will up the other by doing nothing... (all pokemon alive in your team geting xp when you kill an other one. even if you didn't send them on the field... ) => it kill the proud feeling to traine your team...

have a lot of potential... but totaly ruined by all those stuff....

Nouvelle formule qui ressemble à Monsters Hunter, un monde légèrement ouvert avec du crafting et la possibilité de remplir le pokédex! Même si le jeu peut semblé laid au premier abord, il ne faut pas oublier que la compagnie est riche mais ne dispose pas assez de budget pour faire un beau jeu...Le jeu est très bien dans son ensemble! Je ne l'ai pas lâcher après 5 heures de jeu consécutives! On adore explorer, capturer les pokémons et le jeu n'est pas aussi facile ou manquait de défis que les précédents jeux. Le seul point négatif est que j'aurais aimé qu'il ressemble à Breath of the wild, plus d'interactions avec les pokémons et plonger dans l'eau! Sinon, achat direct!

Pokémon Legends takes a different approach to the standard formula. It's much more open world, battles are quick to transition into, catching is also much easier then before as well. Most of the changes made in this game is a breath of fresh air for a series that's gone stale over the past decade.

However it does have issues, it can get repetitive, the game graphically looks like it came from the Wii Era and there is no voice acting in this game. So in many ways it still feels like an outdated game.

However I enjoyed my experience with it overall. I recommend it to any Pokémon fan or any parent who has a kid interested in playing one of the games for the first time.
