Business literature needs more books like this which talk about values and peak experience in a rational and applicable manner.

This is not an encyclopedia or a self-help book, but rather a visionary guide to what Positive Organizational Scholarship is - written in anecdotes that most any leader, manager or executive can understand and assimilate into his or her work environment. As an entrepreneur and small business owner, I have witnessed my company's culture evolve to an internally directed, other-focused and vibrantly positive community. Quinn's approach of "What Result do you Want to Create" as a question to strategically ask at points of indecision helps readers use POS principles in ways that work for them. This is not a book to replace one's own paradigms, but rather compliment them and fill in gaps while helping people maintain their natural style. Highly recommended and a great read.

Both of Kim Cameron's books on Positive Organizational Scholarship are outstanding. As someone who teaches and presents on positive psychology I think I've read every book on positive psychology and this book is among the best. He presents the theory behind the research as well as the research clearly and without superfluous chatter. This book is a straight forward, easy read that provides the research, where it is and where it isn't, to date, in a clear cut manner that is easy to understand and follow. I strongly recommend this book as one of the best I've read on positive psychology.
